I can't wait until i get such high lvl that i can kick his *** :P. Kraken club is beeing sold for beetween 10-100 million on the Pandemonium server! (I could really need that money)
Does anyone have the Pop time from ToD. there has been alot of confusion about this... 16-20, 21-24, 10-16... lets try to figure this out!

I've seen him pop at the 17 hour mark quite a few times, and also had him take as long as the 29 hour mark.
My guess is he's 17-30 hour spawn from ToD.

Lord of Onzonzo <LoO> is a lvl 74-77 NM from the Sea Monk Family. He can be found in Labyrinth of Onzozo & pops in a small cave over a little pool @ (H-8). He has several abilities including Malestrom, Blinga, Wateraga III, Flood, Regeneration, Cross-attack & Draw in! lol (found out the hard way)
To my knowledge he has only one place holder, a "Flying Manta" which pops every 16min (within 30secs after 16 minute mark). To make the NM pop, like most NM's, you must continue killing these mobs untill he pops & is killed. Once dead you have his time of death <ToD>. He is a 16-20 hour NM & now that you know when he died you only have to camp him for 4hours.
Why go through this torcher of camping him & fighting RMT's(real money traders) for the claim you ask? He drops, argueably, the best club in the game (Kraken Club; lvl 63 all jobs & races, DMG 11, DELAY 264 & occasionally hits 2-8 times <try almost everytime>) & to my knowledge the most expensive piece of equipment. The only bad thing about killing this NM for the club is that the club is not 100% .. in fact if i had to guess i'd say it was less than 5%. ; ; Now i know alot of people have their own opinion about this weapon but let someone who actually has it tell you from experience. The club kicks butt! Having what imo are only 2 cons. #1 low damage #2 gives TP to the mob. other than that i <3 my club and would never sell it. Not even for the 100-300mil its going for on Lakshmi server. lol
I Just got the club 3days ago (9/13/05 0110am est). After 6 months of camping him against a full party of RMT's, 5 claims resulting in death for one reason or another & only having killed him a total of once! It was pretty discouraging. I camped LoO for 3 days straight this last week and on the last day i see its nearing Full Moon and almost 90%. By the time he Pops several attempts by my pty members to claim him were uneffective for whatever reason and the damn RMT's get him. Maybe it was fate that wateraga III was followed by Cross-attack, completely destroying their tank, but all i know is as soon as he went unclaimed Flash, Stun & Provoke never went off quicker! The fight was incredibly fast considering he was already at half life & our Blm
casted every tier 4 & aga 3 spell in the book, LoO didnt last. I quickly check the moon phase & see it is in fact Full Moon & 100% (What are the chances after all my misfortune with this NM we get the claim at the absolute perfect time for items to drop). I see his life bar empty & he falls followed by a small amount of xp, 4 water crystals, & a Kraken Club. I still shake when i think about it.
I spent many, many, many hours camping this mob but i owe it all to The Greatest Linkshell around (Faithofthefallen) and the select few that were there: * = present when club droped

I appoligize for the long thread but i figured my story was interesting and kinda informative. feel free to post any questions as ill be chking up on the thread. If anything, let this "essay" i just wrote show that if u really want something, full moon and 100% can happen to you too .. lol

I'm gonna have to take Jobe's side on this one since I saw him camp it 6 months straight. Maybe when you camp it yourself as long as he did and finally get the drop you can give your opinion too.

From what the info everyone is giving it seems to range. When i camped him he seemed to be a 16-20 hour pop. Every once in a while he would pop irregularly, but take it from someone who has the club. >8o)~

Some idiot on Leviathan though he could solo this at a 65thf/32NIN he went there alone and 1 shot later he left, alone lmao

Only 2 ever sold on AH on Bahamut server. 1st for 20 mil, and second for 1g, not to the same person. I'm guessing it might have been a mule or such...but still, who would risk selling it for 1g?
This looks like it's rarely camped on my server. When I get up there, I might hafta go bring some friends and camp it :p

Unfortunately, on Midgardsormr, the JPs camp LoO. And, since the JPs have an advantage against the NAs, I'd suggest buying gil before camping LoO...
Lots of people on my server buy gil. Like the level 33 SAM with a Peacock Charm, or the level 50 PLD with full Gem gear. =D

Old post but meh. Ever thought someone had another account stole the gil/equip deleted and new account? Some people like to remain N/A as much as possible, just a thought :P
i think,since everyone always ******* about prices and gilsellers...that SE should just make all NM/HNM drops ra/ex....that would solve a Myriad of issues/complints/whatever right quick and in a hurry....just my 2 cents.

I wouldn't say rare ex it all, just a lot of the really good stuff. and they should make all ex drops 100%

You know, i agree with you. just the fact of waiting like 50 hours, to then kill the ******* for no drop makes you wanna quit the damn game, ORRR.. if not 100% drop rate, but atleast, jesus christ, change the timing on those spawns, i mean, that's ridiculous!! waiting 20 hours for 1 spawn, to see it be taken away from someone that just got there 10 mins ago!! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH anyways!
If you did that, how would you distinguish the great players from the "I partied with him, he's alright. He had some good gear.. but he didn't use it like I'd expected"

me and a group of friends nhoj(75nin) leprian(75rng) hulklogan(75thf) brodie(75brd) and jarf(70whm) own this guy on our server very easy fight and we kill him everyday. no club tho

Did the "hacker" conveniently sign you up for server emmigration to Hades as well? /sigh~ I don't know why people would think to trust this low life in the first place =/

had a PT of 4 75s, a 74, and me, a 63. we heard this popped, so we hurried over. we found it, but got sloppy. got an air elemental aggro, as well as a few gobs and a scorp. by the time we were done killing (and raising) another group had come and claimed it.
You say you want to know the spawn secrets and fight tips for LoO but you just can't find it? Well, if you knew the secrets to the monster that hardly ever drops a 40-50 million gil club, would you just share it with everyone when it's already heavily camped as it is? If you answered yes, can I add you to my friend's list? I really could use the lowdown on some ToD's

I was called by a friend to the Labyrinth as he had the Lord at about 20%HP remaining.
I immediatly equipped Teleport:Mea ring and headed down there as fast as possible. He was dead by the time I got there and 3 JP's were killing it. A 75Mnk 67War and 70+ RDM.
They were trying to kite it. I couldn't stop laughing. YOU CANNOT KITE THE LORD OF ONZOZO. It will draw you in. The Monk died and the RDM chainspell Raise the Monk and and enfeebled the Lord...all while the 67 War was trying to hold hate, LoO one double attacked and killed him...then hit the weakened Monk and made short work of the Rdm. They all died and HP'd.
So then I (Dowzer 70DRK) decide to claim it after they die....Bad idea. My ls friend had reraised and called a BLM friend to help out...I couldnt tank this at all as it hit me for 200-300. We all died and HP'd.
So we race back down there with a PLD, BLM, BLM, RDM, SAM, and me DRK.
The Japenese guys had already made it back and gave it another attempt.
I watched as Waterga III tear through the Monks shadows (/nin sub) and the Lord used it's Special: Cross Attack on the RDM which killed him in one hit. The warrior died immediatly right after from the AoE and I casted Poison for the claim.
We made short work of it and didn't get a drop.
I come back the next day to see familiar characters. Except. The JP Monk changed to NIN75/War37......Using a Kraken Club.
I brought 8 friends along with me and we sat by the Lord's Pool provoking/flashing/chi-blasting/stunning every Manta that popped.
The only time we missed claim to a Manta spawn was when I forgot to tell my friends the Manta re-pop was due.
A couple Manta spawns after that (we claimed everyone besides my ONE mistake) the Lord of Onzozo pops and both my THF buddy & I provoke the Lord at the same time.
No drop again heheh
I'm willing to bet that I'll be 0/20 before this club drops. With the help of my LS I'll be camping this everday until that happens.

Did this fight recently with a 75DRK/75BLM(me)/75NIN/75RDM. Our Nin had ran out of shi and the Drk went back to get him some. Right as the Drk entered back into Onzo he spawned and we got claim. They managed to trade midfight which was great. Anywho me and the Rdm basically enfeebled and healed, me and Drk had to stun WatergaIII back and forth. Drk pulled too much hate and bit it, had reraise gorget on but once raised ate Lord's AOE Whirlwind and died again. With about 10% hp left he started spamming AOE and Waterga III, I almost finised him off with a Thunder IV but the Nin was able to do the rest. We were all mostly in red at the end but it was one heck of a fun fight! No drop though :(
We were up against about 8 campers to our 4 (originally had 6) so the Drk switched subs from Thf to War when she was in Jeuno getting shi. So we had no TH which sucked but oh well was still a good time.
