I plan to camp this this weekend with a lvl 70+ pt of 6, is this your standard 1-2 hour nm pop or is it a 21-24 hour?
Well first off, a 6xlv70 can't take this mob - remember NMs are about 10 levels harder than their "level". And its a 21-24hr pop :P

Its an HNM. And the pop is 21-24 hrs. Which means the best time to do this is after a maintenance when you can obtain a spawn time and go back the next day to kill. We did it on siren server killed it 2 times in 2 days. No drop on either,
NM Disappear after a time if they are not claimed. This prevents specifically what you talk about. I was the #5 person to log onto Shiva a couple weeks ago as a RNG/THF and was only person in Valkrum for 10 min and Emporer didn't pop until 35 min after server was up and was claimed by a Dart Wielding, Gil Selling, 75 THF with Flee.

Not so godly rare on Gilgamesh - I know 3 ppl who have it, and have seen almost 10 more with it before.
japanese players have had the game for 2 years now, almost 3 :) gilgamesh was opened when the first batch were so its no surprise if it becomes common place over time.

Can anyone post the lvl/party requirement for fightin this thing?
a lvl 55+ thief with Kraken Club is a fun thing to watch =)

I'd say a Lv.63 THF w/Kraken Club is a fun thing to watch ^^* (Considering club is Lv.63 to equip).
And any job will be going hundred fists with this club hehe ^^

not very hard flood does hurts but nothing to worry about so far: 0/12 the drop is incredibly rare

I am considering forming a full party of level 60-75 members to fight him. Does anyone know what his typical actions are in the fight? What he casts, what he reacts best to, etc.? In other words - this is a recon on him. Can a full party of 60-75 defeat him? Our hope is to defeat him and wait for the respawn to do it again. It'd be nice to get the drop for each member of the party, but again - that's why I'm here. To find out how possible this dream of ours is. Thank you for any responses I get. Good luck all! ^^

I have attempted him two times. The first time I was with 6 other people level 73-75. We were in Onzozo solely for Ose for an Assault Jerkin, but decided afterwards why not look.
We showed up, no luck. Decided to kill a few placeholders. oddly there was only one person camping ( likely a scout, as 1 person to take this thing would be almost impossible.)
Third kill, he pops. We were totally unprepared. He hits reasonable fast and has a pretty damn fast AoE high level water spell that he spammed on us. He wouldn't be that difficult imo without this move.
He spins around and hits everyone in PT for 200 - 300 or so, and did it so often WHM was out and soon followed NIN. MY HP was red so I ran behind to rest up a bit, only to be aggrod and killed ignobly by a Goblin spawn as I rested. Needless to say, we felt pretty stupid. Sadly, the 1 camper claimed him after his name turned yellow when we all died. I couldn't see, but soon after heard the sound of a Taru dying.
Next day we came back with 14 people and with a Few WHM and BRD who continuously buffed us with Bar-water songs etc.
Took a decent amount of time and 2 died, but we did end up getting revenge.
Our Reward: Shall Shell

71+ PT is best. Unless you pull it. At 69 and less, you will get agro from surrounding monsters.

can anyone else comfirm that a 75 BST could solo Lord of Onzozo?
i'd say bst can solo anything that doesn't have draw in abilities and isn't going to link with everything in the area and you can avoid aggro from surrounding mobs in the area. so if this meets the specifications i'd say it's definately feasable, jug pet -> torama -> torama -> torama -> jug pet, etc until dead, keep a nice space between you and the mob to run while waiting for jug timer to run out.
also important to note that bst relic decreases the recast time on jug pets.

No. You won't have many monsters strong enough to challenge it.

lol iam in that pic ^^ that was the day the forsaken wanted to kill it lol we almost did^^ iam the ominick u see but name is dominick^^ from the forsaken.....all i ahve to say is AoE spells suck ballz and ppl on fariy surver have a lot of these over 50ppl and lefty has got this club 4+ times and sold it from 15-13 mil gil

In case there's any doubt left, this thing absolutely rocks... I saw a WHM beating the living daylights out of everything that moved in Gusgen, it's like having 100 fists on constantly.
It's actually not THAT rare, it's just that not many people carry it around with them, it gathers attention. Also, a 75 BST (Thai player) in my guild has soloed it twice and gotten the Club both times. Bazaared it off or something for about 5M. (not sure exactly, don't remember the answer he gave)
There are much harder mobs now, like the Crystal Warriors, the 4 Chinesse Gods, and most everything in Ru'avuita Shrine. (not to mention the lvl85 beastie lords) He's still tough as nails, but he's not the most powerful thing to walk (errr, float) now.

ok this club is GODLY rare leme repeat GODLY rare only seen one person ever with it and when i saw them attack with it he was attacking so mant time so fast near my party my sound cut out of my party hitting our crawler. ALL i could hear was insane amounts of beating being unleased upon maze lizards. it was very funny to see him use this club. he was also thf-war so adding in double and trile attack also. and there is NO price histery on the AH for this item on shiva so dream on! lol i would say 20million would be approprait sale price yet when your asking that much.... you probally wont need the money and would just rather have the best club in the game.

it's your standard club...damage is fairly low at 12 though it occasionally hits 2-8 times...pretty cool i'd say. there's a video clip goin around of a party taking on an adamantoise, there's a drk/nin weilding this club in the clip and he goes buck wild w/ soul eater and blood weapon.

DMG is actually 11, but if you have a nin sub-class you can turn it into a damn good DD weapon with another weapon.
