I went and popped him, but died because a Gnole aggroed. I got him to 50% before the Gnole took me down. Luckily a Sprite Raise 3 me and when the coast was clear I raised up, sneaked and invised and rested to full. Once unweakened I killed the Gnole that aggroed me then popped this bad boy. Fight was so easy, but long. Nin enfeebs stuck awesome, and he did his max mp, hp, tp move when he was about 10%. Well, now he's dead and I'm 20k richer! GL

Well, out of some paranoia of the surrounding gnoles, especially since they had a bit of a quick respawn time, we went the extra cautious route. We being myself THF66/NIN33 and my friend RDM75/NIN37. I spawned him, my friend slept him, and we both invis'd and went for the maw. Cobraclaw followed when he finally woke up, didn't aggro anything, and we fought safe and sound.

Yeah, we probably would've been fine, but sometimes before cautious is good~

hahaha... I solo'd this last night.
despite what was stated about the decrepit gnoles
needing to be taken out first.
I took a few moments to study their patterns and based on that
would shift position slightly to the right or the left
(in front of the very small fort/ramp against the mountain)
based on that.

I had no problem at all, went there as 75 Smn/whm.
the gnoles were on either side, and there's an orc above
that wanders up and down the lil fort/ramp.
just below is the ??? for the NM.

Anyways, I expected to die at least once or twice
so I used an earring that gives you reraise II

The NM is decently tough, I used leviathan on it
and spinning dive at least 7-8 times, and at least 3-4 spring waters
had to use 4 hi-elixers, 1 super either, and a pro-either.

and now... I kind of regret wasting a charge on the reraise II earring ...since it only has a few charges.

Strange... But, The orc NM doesn't seem to link with other orc's (or maybe I was extremely lucky) because leviathan started out fighting him underneath that lil small ramp/fort (whatever you call it) and the orc that wanders above it didn't notice the fight, aggro/link.

But yes, soloable by 75 Smn/whm ...as long as you come prepared.
I was a bit >.> uneasy about the gnoles coming so close... but, I shifted position... when the left one came close and looked to aggro
the one of the right side would be far away and facing the other direction.
...so I moved a bit to the right, to keep out of aggro range...
and would move back when the left one moved away and the right one came near.

be careful of that tornado edge... had to fight NM in very close proximity
right at the base of the mountain a few feet in front of the small fort/ramp
so he nailed me with it at least twice, but I had stoneskin/blink up.

...I also noticed... and this seems to have nothing to do with much
but there are orc's that frequently wander by
(they never linked either though... which was odd...)

one almost aggro'd me after the final CS but then wandered off to the left.

Was able to take him with WHM and NIN at 75. Attacks aren't too strong. BTW, me, a 53 SMN, put out carby and used searing light and it only did 66 damage.

I uploaded the pic, but cant get it on the main page here. Help? It's under the media section.
