:Story Start:
Bored after waiting for brd to log on for out static pt. Never turned up so me and the whm (72war and 73whm) decide to go tear up the tower. We get to the top and i'm like "Hay, let's camp Enk" and she's like "ok!"
So we get to the camp, I take western room, she takes eastern.
Get there as a PH was being killed by a RMT.
15mins later, another PH spawn, I kill.
15mins later, Enk pops behind the other camper (who i'm guessing is thf/war or something) and I Voke and claim :D! My friend comes running over, see's Mimas on the way, one-shots it with Hexa Strike. Gets to me, we kill and get drop /joy.
7mil for 20mins works and a lot of fun :D

You can avoid being charmed by Enke if he has a pet with him. So, if you have no competition, wait for him to get his pet, then start fighting him. He can't charm you, and only kill the bat AFTER you have killed Enkelados. I noticed this when I was charmed on my second try with this guy, he had no bat the second time, whereas on the other tries he had bats.

It took me 22 kills to get the drop, and I camped it hardcore enough because I was unemployed: at the time that some people thought I was a gilseller.
Facts:
The Bonecutter that will randomly pop between both rooms is placeholder.
Enky will randomly pop instead of that placeholder. I've seen him pop as quickly as time was up for the placeholder to repop and as slowly as several hours.
I had a camper in each room, so I am sure of what I saw. The drop rate is crap so GL!

this NM has quickly become popular on Bahamut server causing the Enky Bracelets to rise to 3mil ;;. so instead of paying that much for a pair of gloves i decided to camp it. as of now i am 0/1 solo, and i am 0/7 with my friend never missing a claim as drg/thf. every claim i've claimed with jump or high jump then super jump and let Wuffi tank him. in my experience this is his PH, spawntime, spawn area, and so on.
Place Holders Spawntime and area: 1 Gigas Bonecutter (F-8) (J-8). a new Bonecutter will respawn at around 5 game hours so that gives plenty of time to check Ogy on the lower level if your interested in him as well. MAKE SURE YOU CLEAR THE ROOMS ON BOTH SIDES.
at (F-8) there is a Gigas that patrols the hallway. ive found it helpful to target it with a Job Ability (if your claiming with something other than provoke) then turn your back to it and face the cermet door. this allows quick target change. keeping the rooms clear is important if you do this.
i never stayed after i got a claim so i dont know what his respawn time is but goodluck and happy hunting to everybody who needs these awesome bracelets.

Not quite, camped it today and it didnt spawn in 6 hours (killed or personally observed all the placeholders die, kept thinking "it cant possibly not spawn next time"). Very irritating.
I've been camping this thing off and on for about two days now. Currently 0/5 on him. My last claim was so much fun though.
When posting this I am/was a level 60 bst. A bored ls memember (66?67? sam) decided to come help me.
Now, with 64 base chr at 60 and over 80 with charm gear on, i'm not really too worried about being charmed. The sam only had about circa 54 or so...
So its getting late, we had already killed enky once. I tell him to wait a spawn cycle since enky can be weird like that and repop almost immediatly, but enky dosen't show so we go down to see if is ogy up. He wasn't so we fiqured we would go back up and see if pallas was around. In the room where enky spawns near the telepad he engages a gigas and i'm walking through the ivory door when I check scan and see enky is up in the far spawn room. oh crap! Theres only one other camper on the floor but we don't know where he is...after we had gotten enky the first time the camper sort of gone off to farm the other gigas on the floor.
So i start running, and the sam just stops fighting the gigas and flees to claim enky with his bow. So now we have every gigas from enky's spawn near the telepad to his second spawn where we have him claimed. No big deal though, I pull out a jug fungar and send it after enky.
Then enky charms the sam...and sends him after my fungar =D
Theres too many gigas around and I really don't know whats going on so I hit sic hoping to kill enky and uncharm the sam. The fungar does dark spore on the sam and drops him to a little over 100 hp lol.
about that point the sam informs me that the fungar is kicking his *** (too many gigas swarming the screen to see lol) so I bust out a rampage and down goes enky. After that cure III and clean up the rest of the gigas. Right as enky drops the two gilsellers that camp him all night come running up. It was great.
lol so much fun. Great nm to fight even if the drop rate sucks. I want to take on pallas now just for the crazy memories

I was exploring upper delkfutt's as a SMN64 just for giggles. Killed some magic pots for shards and killed Porphyrion and Mimas many times over with absolutely 0 drops. Anyway, I did notice a high level BRD was standing near the teleport pad with a Gigas Bonecutter claimed. His back was turned and every now and then he would play Army Paeon III and Army Paeon IV. Also he occasionally tossed a random threnody at the gigas.
Do you think this guy was holding the PH? Is that legal to do? The only other thing I could think was that he was trying to was cap evasion or something...but it seemed a bit unlikely.

i previously posted that anyone under 55 has risk of being charmed, i didnt know exactly then bc his charmed has missed me everytime, i assumed he couldnt hit a 70+....well i was camping with my lv73 thf friend, she got charmed, and the next day camped witha 72rdm, he got charmed too, id guess any Lvl has risk of being charmed, so be careful ^^

Camp for 6 hours and 3 spawns. 2 in the fartest room and one in the nearest room(by the tele pad). Im currently 0/6 on this.. drop sucks.. and waiting for him sucks. I suggest bring a friend to cover both rooms.=/ Theres times nobodys camping this guy.. very well worth it..

Me and a friend just recently proved that there can be more than one bonecutter at a time. Once we had 4 spawn. This was after camping for about 6 hours with no luck on the NM. Im not saying that this isnt the placeholder just that there is often more than one at a time.

ya me and my gf camped him for 5hrs (didnt know about the PH thingie than, opps ;p) well he popped, we got him, failed to charm her, no drop, eh thats life, we're gonna try again soon, 1.9mil on odin currently

could a 61 sam/30 war or 29 thf take it? i really would like these things......
u'd rape it, killed it in under 10 seconds as 55 SAM with my 2hr. 5 jinpus is amazing dmg on low lv mobs.
In both rooms there are a few regular poping gigas, they have nothign to do with the NM..................There will be a Gigas Bonecutter in one of the rooms, it can spawn on either side, he is the PH......kill him and wait 15 minutes irl.......either Gigas Bonecutter or the NM will spawn, so far ive seen, its completly lottery....Keep the Bonecutter dead, and he will pop

this information doesnt seem right.. if its 15 minutes then you would be able to kill one side, go kill the other, and then go back to the first side and 15 minutes later there would be either enky or a bst to kill... problem is.. sometimes ive had to wait 20 minutes, sometimes 10, sometimes i get frustrated and wlak to the other side and see the second PH up and kill it, come back to the first side and hes STILL not up..
does anyone have any idea how long the real spawn time on the PH/NM is? It's gotta be a BIG variable, cause sometimes its fast.. sometimes it seems like forever

There is Only ONE bonecutter between both rooms, if you see it in one room, that means that there is NOT another bonecutter on the other side. there is no way of knowing what side the NM or the Bonecutter will spawn on, i usually start out in the room with the Bonecutter, kill it and start the timer when it dies, if the NM or the Bonecutter has not respawned in my room after 15minutes and 15 seconds, i flee/walk to the other room bc thats where the PH/NM will be

Well was bored one day so decided to head over to the tower to get a few Lighting Clusters for synthing. Anyways i get all the way up to top floor without seeing 1 ele so i decide to check out spawn area for this guy. I went to the F-8 area and there is 2 ppl in pty together campin him. I ask how long they've been here and one says 4 hrs or so with no pop. Anyways i notice they arent killing the BST Gigas that spawn, so i kill the 2 there rest mp. I stood up and within 30 sec he pops right by the door, my stun was off b4 those 2 even blinked. Would've been sweeter if I got drop but oh well lol another day.

just killed this guy as 60 war/thf it was pretty easy i had just arrived and was fighting a magic pot with my NPC out when it spawned right after a high lvl rdm killed a gigas and walked away i voked it right away and was fighting both the NM and magic pot at same time with my NPC it was fun :D he cant be any higher lvl then 55 or so he was way too easy..... then again i did 2 hour and stuff.... still way too easy i expected a fight!! his charm failed and he wasnt up long enough to call a bat >.> no drop :/ 118 gil and a pair of gigas socks.... back to Ogygos i killed him almost 2 hours ago >.> no drop either.... atleast he gave me a shield!!

So I'm like "bleh.. I'll wait"
Then I started doing /sea to see if anyone was there, I see a BST !!!
Then all of a sudden I see him on my screen!
I'm like "OMGOMGOMGWTFBBQLOLZSEPUKUPLZ"
I'm charmed and that other guy's coming!
I get uncharmed!
I only have the time to do one swing before the BST gets in range. That was really a close one.
But no drop ;_; 0/1

I randomly decide to go into upper delkfutts... and i go to the pop room. I see this big purple ugly thing and i slap it and then stare at it.
10 minutes later i realize its an NM and i kill it. got drop, sold for 1.5 mil hooray. 1/1 lmao

i found that if the nm has his pet bats out, instead of trying to charm you, the nm will use familiar 2hr making its pet stronger

K so I logged at enky last night after 5 hours of not popping. I log in this morning none of the gigas were up. I went AFK to do IRL stuffs. Come back and Enky is staring at me, unclaimed. After about 3 seconds on omfg... I finally provoked it
as 73WHM/36WAR. Killed it and the 3 other gigas with NP. No drop.

So I was OMG'ing to my LS for like 5 mins of what had just happened. Then decided to see if anyone was at the other PH camp. So I get there and I see a BST from my LS. I see his crab was fighting a gigas, then I see Enky...again. No drop again. But he pop'd twice within 15 mins.

I have a score to settle with Sneakk and Golemtank (gilsellers) on Fairy and they constantly camp this. Hmmm. (Charm) (Can I have it?) (death) (You can have this.) Golemtank + Sneakk XD

Currently 2/17+ on this nm, he has charmed me 6/9 times. PH is the Gigas bonecutter which randomly spawns in one of the two rooms, (F-8) or (J-8), the repop is 5:00 game time, good luck on camping him, unless your on fenrir then stay away from my house! Currently 1mil-1.2mil

i got this ******* and was kicking his *** and then i got charmed... the only good thing was i got .1 dagger skill off the thf who claimed it. then i see him turn away and a taru run in the room and see wingdows starts casting blizzaga III on kingofavondale... luckily the thf killed it or i might have died and delvled. all i know is that little blm better watch out if theres ever bombs around while i'm on my bst.

I've got quite a few stories to tell, my favorite so far being the one where the PLD outclaims me (i had auto-run on when i hit flee ><) but the DRK kills the pet bats and gets him charmed, so he turns and slaughters her. Right there I took the opportunity to kill the unclaimed Enky, no drop ;[
After logging in today and trying again, I scanned him up while they were both busy killing Gigas on the right side. Grabbed him with Shadowbind, open with EES and took a few shots untill I had TP. At this point I noticed there were still no pet bats. So I then swap on my 2x Hope Rings from my earlier BST session and Sidewinder him for the win!

He is a lottery pop thus he is not set on a timer (Much like Ogygos) but it seems Enkelados regens a hell of a lot more often then Ogygos. I have camped him alot and only once, when I didn't know the deal with his respawn, did I wait 5 hours for a pop (i.e. were you killing the placeholders?). I would say my wait time has been from 45 minz - 3 hours, more often then not he spawns in a hour to two hours.
