Ok, made rings around the crag to hunt these things as 52 SAM/THF. Stole and got dropped a total of 6 or 7 stacks. Had to do this for hours but as an essential to clothcrafting I was willing to take the time out. They just sell for way too much at the AH.

The Mandragora-Mad Quest stated that these guys also drop the Cornette... why isn't it listed here as one of the items they drop??

How much does the cotton sell for on ya'lls sever?

Yes, if you mean a Taru-sized, onion headed creature with no relation to a giraffe except maybe as something a giraffe would eat, then you could say this is sorta like a giraffe.

I was fighting one last night when one close by statrted attacking me too.
I know they don't link but they do have an ability "Scream" I don't know if this is true or not but it may be a sort of "call for help" where nearby Pygmaioi will join in the fight. I could be completely wrong about this but i think it happened to me once.

They don't link. I was fighting one and purposely ran around another Pygmaioi and it didn't link. No need to be afraid of these things joining together.

You can also get the 2-Leave Mandrigora Bud off of these guys. Noticed it for the first time a week ago. Pretty infrequant drop though.
