Confirmed. They do dorp in Beaudeux, just got one after killing about 50 of them. Too bad I need two...

Okay, "No horse$$$$, Jack". I was 0-70 on these Martha Fockers. I was WAR50/THF 25 with TH1 and the drop rate is off the chart on Quetzcoatl. Once I asked this effin RMT on the Beadeaux upper deck if they got drop and they said yes. I think they were {lie}-ing LOL or it got Lost in Translation (which, btw is the second worst movie all-time behind The Thin Red Line).
It was kinda cool voking the mobs on the upper deck from the pit area, but that's the only positive thing I can say.
So, I moved on, got drone earrings and say take your dodge earring drops and.....
Eff you SE drop rate sado-masochists!!

A thing about RMT's is they use a lot of hacks that will make what they want to drop which is why they make so much gil, they always get the drops they want. So when the RMT said yes it dropped its cause he used the hack that made it drop.

1/1 I was looking for a quadav helm but killed an ooze and got an earring ^^ sold very well ~60blm/28whm
well i been camping this guy on asura...and i got 1/6 (woot ^^) and then im about 0/8 as of now. but the botter/gilseller idk is my ******. he is SO slow with voke its not even funny. i see the oozes pop in the pit and i have atleast 4 seconds before he vokes. the other 2 he seems to know exactly when they pop and where they pop. hes a thf/war, but seems like he has widescan. he stands idle then flees and goes straight to it regardless of where it is. anyway...just sharing my story. bloodlestsnod is the bot on asura..dislike him cuz i want some money ; ; anyway... im done

with th1, i went 0/7 before getting 2 in a row. was 1st quarter moon 43%, lightsday.
just got him in beadeux 1/1, then 2 more times, nothing...

Could easily kill them lol I killed them as a 36WHM/THF so yeah...55BLM would slaughter them

was killing these for around 40mins when earing dropped. around 1/16 when i got it and killed another 5 with no drop then logged for maintenance

Btw, your best bet is to never stay after you get one earring, from my drop rates, ive only ever gotten more then 1 earring like 3 - 4 times.

This mob is a favorite of mine. Ill tell you why.
#1, Spawn time is so fast.. its like 2 mins per pop, I dont know why u think its 12... do you even know it pops is around 6 different areas?
#2 Very easy to claim, being a thf/war for flee/voke or even any job with voke or charm... know spawn times, pattern, and spawn places, and your set.
#3 Its jut fun to beat JP botters to the spawns.
The spawns are 2 in the little trench, one behind the trench, one on the little island to the right of the trench(if your looking into it from above that is, this goes for all of these), one to the right of the island on the wall, and the last to the left of the wall... Last 2 are both rarer spawns.
My record has been going to crap tho. My all time record is.. i would say around 17/1300+ it is getting to the point that i have to stay there all day to just get one earring, I have gotten 2 earrings in around 50 claims tho, that was nice.
To me, its just a rush to camp this because of such fast spawn time... but as far as money making goes.. unless you only need the earrings... dont even bother camping these... try spook or something that doesnt have a drop rate of 3%. =^.^=

lol hit enter instead of backspace... subjects sposed to be carpenter's ooze.
Anyways, I found one on the boat in carpenters landing but I docked before I could kill it. 3rd time I took the boat and first time seeing it. Almost died because I was naked. Don't ask.

-Don't Drop in pairs
-Got one claim after another and only 1 drop
-Got one claim after another of the one in the same area with still no drop
-Maybe its my interpretation but i couldnt get a pair.

BTW drop rates seem higher if your doing something other than camping them.
example i play FF1 while i camp these so i dont pay attention to how many i kill. Even if i dont get a drop at least i got my pt in FF1 25% of the way through the game ^_^

About what level are they in Beadeaux?
Dont hate me for this but... i got the drop as a 74PLD/25THF. im about 1/20~ now. :x

*has 5 pop points I have seen. one against the southern wall another on the grass patch a bit N a third NE at the 3 trees, forth is at the end of the fence, and the 5th is the Northmost point near the fence.

2. near the east grass patch
3. on the mound
4. perpendicular to the mound on the other side near the wall
5. near the rocks around the corner
6. below the cliff... Only seen him pop there once so I'm not sure if he fell or aggroed or actaully popped down there.

Every time i go to camp these to try to get the earrings there is always the same gil seller there, and after the one sees me another 5 or so come and follow me around trying to make sure i dont get an ooze pop. I think it would be wonderful if SE would come out with a special kind of warp where u can warp gil sellers and mine bots with out being in there party... In my many attempts of trying to farm them i've learned there are no gil sellers there around the afternoon. So if u plan to camp them id suggest doing it around 5-7 p.m.

I have a strange drop rate with this. I went with two other people and on the 4th Ooze an earring dropped. For the rest of the night we got nothing but slime. The next day i log on, alone, the first ooze i kill drops an earring...Then my friends come back on and we don't get one all night...

no, they only drop in Beadeaux. Kinda sucks :(
Well, I knew I was overdue for a drop one of these days. I met a friend in Beadeaux and we started slaying the Oozes. After about 10 or so spawns, several campers left, and we had the place to ourselves. We started joking around with which moves to use to claim it....so on the next spawn, I used absorb-chr...a near useless spell. Well, it must've had some use because we finally got the drop! After another 20 or so spawns, we got another! Redemption is so sweet.
Does this NM spawn, or does it have to be fished up?
Hate these things....I must've killed AT LEAST 100 and not gotten a single Dodge Earring. AT LEAST 95 of those with Treasure Hunter.
I guess you could say I'm lucky that I got an Archer's Ring off my first Stroper Chyme..but that was with a party and the Blm who got it hasn't sold it yet...or he did, and he's not sharing the profit like he said he would.

Me and my friend. 56WHM/RNG(dun ask me why,lol) and 33RNG/THF came to Beadeux Saturday night hoping for some earrings.. TO OUR MUCH Surpirse the first kill dropped a earring.. o_O;;; Of Course we stayed longer cuz i told her if i got 1, that'd she get one lol.. So i go up and leave her at the circle camp... I come back and we start killing 'em again. After an hour later, we claim one more and i leave it on attacking while i go AFK for dinner.. I come back about 5 min later and saw she got a earring too. XD So then, *eat*eat*.. Now im just a WHM/RNG killing ooze's on my own. Im talking to my husband(XD) (Orderedsushi: LMAO like i'd ever get a dodge earring w/o TH >.<;) A min later i claim a Ooze and it drops it :P.... LoL.(Btw we were there for 3 hours)
Aside from this topic, I've been very lucky today.
