They arent 'afraid' of water, they detect by sound, pursue by scent, so if you have this chasing you, you run through water, they lose your scent, they stop following...^^ cool eh?
Has anyone ever seen these guys drop silk thread? I've been fighting these things with a static party for about 2 weeks now and have never seen silk thread drop from them yet. We do have a Thief in the PT as well.
We fought about 60 or so in a 2.5 hour session, and got maybe 2-4 silk thread? (no THF or THF sub either). Its defintiely not so common as on say the low level ones, but its there.
I killed a Knight Crawler over in the Boyahda Tree area. It dropped a Rare/EX item called 'Lucky Egg'. I assume this is for a quest, but it is also usable (you can eat it). A friend told me it was for a quest in Windurst, but I have seen no documentation on any English website.
Lucky egg is for a quest in Kazham. The one that gets you the Opo-opo Crown. you collect 9 other items and give them to the opo-opos in a specific order.. The quest is called "The way to King Opo-Opo" I believe.
The quest name is, "The Big Tree Grows From an Egg".
You take that egg and bring it to a taru named, "Huma-Giva" and he will tell you to take the egg, and stick it straight up your ***. When you do it will grow into a might form. So you run around for roughly 1 earth hour, and then a TREANT will start to grow out of your ***. But you have to use the secret /asscast Treant command. The treant will then fight for you, though he makes flatulant sounds constantly and mumbles about being the creater of poo.
Yeah I did the "The Big Tree Grows From an Egg" quest, but I have one question, after I do the quest Huma-Giva just kinda laughs at me and calls me a ultra-noob, so Idk what this quests does for you.
