Being a DRK and being "based on dark" are not the same thing. Being a DRK means it has the same job traits and armor/weapons as a DRK would have. Being "based on dark" means that it is, elementally, dark. Therefore, dark magic would have no effect on this mob, but as it says, wind would. Hope that clears up your questions.

leveling up on them as we speak, and one dropped an item that i havent seen before and isnt listed on the database.
it was a "Dhalmel leather missive". the PLD of our pt got it and i cant remember the text. was something about an ancient form of communication. i cant really remember.
maybe some new quest?

Also drops Mythril ore, just dropped one, seems to be rare though.
