They drop Femurs often enough, IMO

after farming and lvling here for quite a while I have never gotten a giant femur but they do drop sprigs of Papraka Grass.

is it possable your thinking of WILD dhalmels and not bull dhalmels? i know the WILD Dhalmels in the Canyon drop papraka grass

I have gotten both Giant Femurs and Papaka Grass from both Wild Dhalmels and Bull Dhalmels, but it it my belief that the Bull Dhalmels have a better drop rate for both items.
