Ok these things deffinently do not aggro. If you have one attack you then you must have done something to **** it off because I've been in Yoaht from 26-30 with these things crawling all over my parties' camps and they are harmless.
whats up this damn thing i was ptying in yhoat minding my buisness cuase nothing where i was but gobs aggro and all of a sudden this thing starts chasing me and attacking me it even AoE petrify i managed to zone but allakhazam says no aggro so wth happened
Had the strangest experience with these last weekend. Levelling up SAM, and my fourth time through these jungles so I thought I knew what to expect.
We were partying in the cave around G-8, chaining mandies to gobs for EXP chains. All of a sudden, one of these things aggroed and killed our SMN/WHM! When it was done, it just wandered off and left the rest of us alone.
Everyone suspected that the SMN had cast some area effect spell that hit the Lizard, but she kept claiming that she didnt. I went back and checked the log and, sure enough, the only thing she had cast the whole fight was Garuda's blink (Aerial Armor) and several cures on our NIN tank.
Right now I'm suspecting this isn't a real aggro and was more of a glitch, but has anyone else experienced this before?

The Marble you are looking for is dropped by the Ivory Lizards. You know, the ones in Yuhtunga, not Yhaoter.
I thought these Lizards are supposed to drop a quest item (Marble or so) so you can do the quest in Kazham with that Pilgrim and finally get
