Seems odd, I find myself killing these a lot for coffers/tests etc. and it seems that something definately effects the unlit lantern drop. Sometimes I go 5/5 in a row, sometimes i go 0/20.

Was able to solo one of these as PLD68/NIN31. It was a fun battle, got 53 Exp (Decent Challenge), and a Coffer Key (was shooting for a lantern).

Unfortunately...its Bio III killed me after it was gone.

I'm level 67 now, but hey, it was fun ^^
