This NM is definatly not 75, my pt killed it on our way to camp. We had lvls 69-71 and only got 16 exp from it.
On a side note: Right when it was about dead, the gil sellers that camp it tried to mpk us :S. 3 of our members died, but we managed to lot for the 3 skins that dropped. As it turns out the 3 people who died (including me) each got a skin :-).

Um... just because you only got 16 exp doesn't mean its not lvl 75. You may not realize it yet, but at those lvls, level 75 mobs rate as EP-EM, thus the 16 exp.

if you're in an xp pt in kuftal, on sylph, this NM gets pulled to the zone in massive trains my gil-sellers...i've died in many of them, it REALLY sucks
I had a 71war,62rdm,66rdm and myself 71mnk and we took this thing with no problems for 3 straight claims in one day.

I was in a small Alliance earlier today for Weapon skillup, after an hour or so this thing pops, the problem is that the only healer in the other party left and i was already running on dry from healing the entire alliance (I was there for only skillups and wasnt going to stand back and rest to keep full mp all the time, I used a Lilith rod so i could dish out cures and status heals as they were needed as long as things didnt go wrong)
.. Well naturaly the 2 Tanks see him and charge ahead (already half dead because previous fights).. they both manage to get petrifide in the first 20secs of fighting. I had already been healing but still only had 32mp at that point, and nether were in my party so in my panic to "/name" target them i accidently cast silena on one of them ~_~
Well petri wears and they survive to that point. Of the 2 Ofcorse the one with the lower health % manages to grab Amemet's hate good and even thoe i managed to get a slow and para on to Amemet this ninja keeps missing her blinks. Just before i get back up because i got enough mp to heal again "Amemet uses Headbutt, Ninja 1 was defeated by Amemet".. The only thing that annoyed me was the ninja had the nerve to act surprised as to why she kissed the dirt. No one was a fault in this situation, but we all made mistakes, and as a whm,. it bothers me deeply to see people die.
This is a slight warning, if you have so much as the slightess Clue everyone might not be ready, please kite the thing. You cannot act as if you have the full cover of a healer if your in an alliance without one in your "own" party.
Amemet died easily after that and some Drk one the lot.

was goin to xp off tigers and ***** and saw someone called for help. happened to amemet and it ran by us. person who called for help and we waited for it to change color. Voked it and killed it with 4 ppl, pld, sam, whm, and me (rng). got 4 skins out of it and started to laugh really hard. additional unexpected 250k is quite nice if u ask me

I just loged into the game and my LS said that the HNM Guivre poped. No one seems to camp this HNM on the Fenrir server they just go when he pops, but anywys.
Were arrive to the tunnel and get pass Guivre to the area with all teh lizards so we can pull him there and kill, as we waited for more mebers to arrive Amemet poped. There was a party right beside him but they were a lvling party so our bst charmed another lizzard and a rdm/nin in our party faught it. Did not take to long for him to die, if we all attacked it i am sure it woulda died very fast. He droped Amemet skinn and thats all, after that we killed the HNM

I have noticed this with other nms. I think its SE way of dealing w/ gil selling. /sigh
Back on topic: I saw this Lizzard pop once while xping in Kuftal. A level 75 drk, 60+ whm, and 50+ brd took this thing with ease. I think they were hunting coffers, because whm and brd were gone and drk died to a bunch of lizard links while killing placeholders. While he was weakened the thing poped :/ but they were the only campers.

Theres a group on Gilgamesh server that camps this (for what this seems 24/7), consisting of a bunch of ****** Ibm, Aoc and a few others.
We claimed Amemet one time and they got pissed, tried to MPK us by aggro'ing robber-crabs and warping right near us...
didn't work, we just moved away from the crabs.
Really kinda annoying seeing as I helped Ibm get his coffer key when he was lower-lvl... but I like this NM now, think i'll take him more often ^^

Was an interesting experience for me with this thing. Asked my thief friend who was camping it to give me a hand with the coffer key for SAM AF gloves, he's lvl 74 and had a level 70+ whm along helping him camp the lizard, I get to the tunnel, lot on a coffer key that dropped off the first sand lizard they killed, and was asked to help grab amemet, as they had competition from a gil-seller looking type party and another one. after about 15-20 minutes of me standing there like an idiot, I saw it spawn. Quickly run up and voke it, first NM catch for me ever. Though as a level 55 SAM, I didn't last very long ^_^;; as I panicked and tried to kite it towards my thf friend :S took my friend about 10 minutes to kill the thing, and I got Raise III in the end...never doing that ever again though :P
Edit: BTW now that I look back at this, I remember it was the cats group that was camping amemet as well, along with some random looking skillup party on the side.

this guy cannot be lvl 75. Killed it today with a PT of 62s. I think he's a lvl 70 Notorious Monster at most. The exp he gave to the lvl 62 PT was about 60.
what's the spawn time on this guy? 1.5-2hrs?
could a 65drk/thf, 68drg/war and 66whm/smn kill amemet?
no, amemet hits hard. he could hit those jobs for 150-200 a hit.

I (53 Whm) killed this with Zeroth, a Galka 75 mnk/nin. It was very easy, I just had to cast Erase and Stona once or twice. We got one drop, Sells for 200k on Seraph. Not bad for 30-45 minutes of camping.
@ lv 73 bst now i just went downstairs and charmed a VT ovinnk, 2 houred it, and went back up. amemet still wasent poped so i killed lizzys with my ovinnk for around 15 mins. it was @ half hp now and was gettin kinda worried. but anyway, amemet poped right infront of my and i siced the pet on it. needless to say. the battle lasted around 2 mins and i didnt have to switch pets once. the half hp ovinnk killed amemet with ease ^^. my new favorite pet: Ovinnks
72 bst/whm killed this twice yesterday, 1st time got 1 skin and 2nd time i got 3 skins :) gonna wait till price goes up though to sell skins

Usually takes 2 or so hours.....I think they patched this NM :(

I know for a fact that a 75 War/ 37 NIn can take it. With the help of a 70+ WHM . I know this cause i was on the party hunting for it for its skin.
Well, my LS and i came here to get my drg friend his coffer key. I was tank (60sam/30war) and our party formation was:
62DRK/THF
60THF/NIN
59WHM/SMN
59DRG/WAR
60SAM/WAR (ME)
56RDM/WHM
now we were well equiped and work well together so we were killing all the crabs near the desert zone so we decided to go to the big room and kill there. Well our drk spotted Amemimit and just kinda looked at it. I was right behind him just kinda looking at it too. Well our thf came up and started to debat pulling it. There were 3 lizards behind the NM but our thf pulled anyway ignoring us telling him not to. Well we got about 5 links and i ended up tanking the NM and the lizzys. We got the NM down to about 75% hp (really just me and the drk since the others were working on the links) we were very disorganized and then our thf bailed on us and then everyone ran i decided to stand behind and die like a true sam and hold off the thing. I had filtered for what i was being hit for so i dont really know but i think we did very good considering this wasnt a true pt and that was a lvl 75 mob. The morale of the story is ;): Listen to your fellow pt members...

killed him with a guivre killing alliance.. took him down very quickly with 18 people, with TH2 we got 4 skins. I also believe he aggroes.. i didnt see the full action of how we claimed him but it seemed as if the brd got aggroed. Either that or he claimed him without me noticing. anyways.. 4 drops of 150k skins.. amazing NM and rather easy.
he doesn't aggro, he spawned rite near my party when we were fighting, no aggro
My advice is that if you see a 66 bst soloing this thing and he's in trouble...don't cure him...even if it seems like the noble thing to do... O_o

I solo him all the time. However it seems his Lottery Time has been extended. He no long is a 2hr then lotto pop, he is more like a 3hr then lotto pop now, and i have waited 5hrs and gaveup and it Still didnt pop, this is with killing lizard placeholders the entire 5hr period. So there was some drastic change to his spawn timers that i am trying to figure out.

Saw this guy today while lvling off robbers, saw it thought it was just a normal lizard so i /c'd it, impossible to gauge! lol so then it linked to some 61's w/ a 70 rdm they all got killed b/c it linked to a lizard they were killing. Our whm went over tractored the rdm then raised 'em. Party disbanded before i was able to see them kill it :( we wanted to know if it aggroed...started /em'ing things, finally out pally went over and it didnt aggro so we felt safer afterwards.

The way Amemet spawns is a two hour lottery.
i.e. after he dies a two hour timer starts and when those two hours are up, he'll lottery sooner or later from the sand lizards.
Also to note his drops is 1-5 skins, and 3 is a very lucky drop without TH2 so don't be discouraged with 2 or less if you have no thief.
Most I've personally gotten was 4 with TH2.
