Has about 2050hp. Solo'ed it as 46 THF/NIN, though it was a close call and I only won thanks to a lv75RDM nearby.
Before hatchet'ing the ??? I used a Sneak Oil on myself. This enabled me to SA (the Treant did not detect me) and off we go. The thing has LOW LOW LOW delay (seemed to have double or triple attack). Utsusemi and high evasion help to keep me going, and thankfully enough I bought along 2 hi-potions (get 3 or 4 if you plan to solo like me). Dealt 50 on average per hit, thankfully the RDM came passing by and casted Prot/Shell IV on me and knocked off about 25 points on average. He dissappeared afterwards, only to come back when I was in the red and had used my 2hr ^^;; Cured me and I just finished it off.
So, it's just managable, just come prepared with some hi-pots and silent oil if you're a THF.
That is so wrong. It is agro since when I spawned it with my lvl 32 WAR it attacked me and the THF and MNK I had with me set up a fuidama to bring it down to 30% HP. (Fuidama was Dancing Edge). But atleast change the fact: not aggro. cause that aint true.
32 Monk <--Me 30 monk 37 thief 40 Samurai Around the low 30's red mage
All we had in the party, that tree was a pain in the butt, our samurai hit it pretty hard but got killed by it, luckily the rest of us finished the job.
Me and 4 other members from my LS (NantenKnights)Quetzecolt Server) just beat the living shi* out of this thing. We a 31WAR/12MNK, 49PLD/24WAR, 41SAM/20WAR, 43DRK/20WAR, and a 32WHM/BLM. We were so hyped up about this fight..thinking/hoping it would be a cgallenge..lol. It didnt last more than 45 seconds.Easy Day.
Some of the members of my static party did this last weekend, 30 war/pld (ghalka), 32 rdm/whm, 30 whm/smr, 32 blm/whm (all tarus) - basically, we nuked it to death - didn't have any mp left at end, but killed it.
Level 55 Redmage solo'd I'm sure a level 52 Redmage can solo it... maybe even lower. I went into this battle with every buff in the book: Protect III, Shell I, Blink, Stoneskin, Enfire, Phalanx, Haste, Refresh. The tree was only able to hit me for a total of 37 during the entire fight (one 27 when my blink and stoneskin dropped and a critial hit of 10 later in the fight). I didn't even touch 2-hour; just debuffed him all the way with slow, paralyze, and gravity and nuked with Fire II. Went down pretty fast. Just remember to keep that Blink up, when it goes down, recast... it'll make you live longer.. ok... now for Forger.
Soloed it as a 50 RDM/25 WHM, and only used a Cure II + Divine Seal for healing (along with the natural WHM regen). It had a ton of HP, but other than that I couldn't tell a difference between this and the Treants in Battalia.
i soloed it as 49 drg/ 24 rdm was a little tricky but barstone doesnt get interuptted much so i was able to keep the Heal Breath III coming. Plus penta-thrust 2 or 3 times. If i had started with 100 TP it would have been easier but i didnt wanna risk it on the mobs around it.
Killed it today, 45whm (me) and a 43pld helped me kill it. Very easy, just a lot of hitpoints, doesnt hit that hard at all... i could post a better pic. ill put the link up in a few... Thanks again Biviilla ^^ -Asura Server
Any level 50+ melee should be able to solo it, I could easily as a level 57 White Mage, tho it still took a while to kill (Tarutaru White Mages aren't exactly built for dealing damage).
Killed it with a WHM/BLM 32, BLM/WHM 30, me, WAR/THF(At time) and a nice 52 dragoon i searched up in Windurst who was willing to come and help with no payment what so ever. The dragoon could have solod it im pretty sure, the fight would have been longer but not much... made me wnat to level my dragoon job later hehe... Nakera Kujata
We were a party of 4 42s and a couple of lower people. It gave us a total of 6 EXP. ; ; We were getting ready for a hard fight, but it lasted 30 seconds.
