Confirmed. Im fishing them with a Halcyon Rod and a Sabiki Rig. (H-7) Aydeewa Subterrane. Im currently 38 fishing, but Im sure they are easy to fish. They react the same as when fishing jellyfish or algae, so they are fishable by any level I would think. Just fish in the place in Aydeewa Subterrane that has no aggro, where u get the BLU guy for the AF. The lake has a glowing color and you can even see the Marimos in the water lol.
I would think that, since this isn't "really" a fish, you would use sabiki rig to "snag" it, kinda like pamtam kelp. no idea on level, though, I'd just go and try it

Fishing with what? Also what level? This is a fish used for the sunbreeze festival, so is it possible to goldfish-scoop it up? Same with betta, does anyone know?
