This head piece is great for BLM.
First, if you've got the INT already backed up to get the damage multipler, the Magic Attack Bonus+2 is always a great aid. MP recovered while healing is always a plus. The MND helps your White Magic enfeebling spells and enhances your Stoneskin's power for /WHM or /RDM. I'm pretty sure the -Enmity is self-explainitory for any BLM considering those high tier nukes can be pretty "attractive" for the mobs. For your Black Magic enfeebling spells and elemental debuffs just macro in your Wizard's Petasos or INT+ head piece for them, but this piece is a great asset to any BLM in enhancing his damage output with those helpful benefits on the side.
Side note: The Refresh effect is +1 MP/tick with the full set, but take into account if you have the full set you can continue to regain MP while casting and resting, and not have to macro in your Black cloak everytime you aren't acting.

Does anyone have the full set yet? I would like to know for sure if the refresh is 1mp/tick or greater. From the description that SE gave it would seem that the refresh would be greater than 1 a tick.
The Warlocks Chapeau is by far one of the best items for a RDM, for the Fast Cast and Elemental Magic Skill, this would only be good if you wore the whole set at once for the Refresh Effect, but the MAB+ is nice, the AF hat is still a little better, but its kick ass for a BLM ^^, although im not sure if i would macro this in for nuking on RDM, cause im not sure how this would work vs AF hat.
Although I WOULD macro it in for Divine Seal > Convert > Cure IV for 2 reasons:
1) Emnity -5 is insane for a big hardcore heal like Cure IV
2) MND+ Will boost your Cure IV just a pinch, but better than the AF Hat that most RDM's are still wearing at this lvl, unless you have a Zenith Crown, but still this Turban has better stats for certain spells/abilities.

Well, I am working on this piece right now. I am 9/9 on Ilrusi Atoll Assault. I have over 6000 Assault Points. I should have this item by the end of the month. I was going to try to get the Yigit feet, but that Assault I just don't understand. Ilrusi is so freaking easy it's not even funny :P GL getting it you all

I myself have been doing a lot in Aht Urghan
have done Golden Salvage Assault 2 times won both pretty easy even with only 4 mercs. gotta find cursed chests and hope they arent mimic type mobs, if u get the golden figurehead out of chest u win. easy as pie.
I have also done the excavation duty, which i lost, u gotta break down brittle rock walls, we tried everything from using the surrounding bombs to try to hurt it with exploding bombs, did weaken it somewhat. need more melee than mages on this one. tier4 blm nukes were barely touching them bout 40dmg max, tier 3 for my rdm was 14dmg with aero3 so bring melees.

BLM shine on the walls too, you just need to stick Poison II and 3 elemental DoT for a total of like 12-18 damage per 3 sec.

what doest the "set" stutus mean, and how is it activated? the refresh effect would be 1/3 the reason for wanting this. ^^
As far asI know, the set status can be activated when wearing all pieces of the equipment set. For example, to get the Yigit set refresh effect, you must equip every piece of Yigit gear, head body hands legs feet.

You get this by doing the Assault mission "Golden Salvage".
Bhoy Yhupplo is the npc that you sign up at for assault and the turban costs 20,000 assault points.
I haven't done Golden Salvage, but I have done Leujaom Cleansing and its hella-fun. :D
