i can't confirm the cap lv on this, but it must have recently moved up. i used to get no skill ups at lv 10, and now i'm a lv 11 and i skilled 3/6 synths. total of .4 skill up. anyone know what they ended up moving the cap to?
This is not a 10 cap. I have failed synth 6 consecutive times at level 5 Leathercrafting facing north with Advanced Support. I got skillup once and have succeeded twice. That it lets me try it indicates that it's close. The failures and lack of skillups on failures indicate that it's more than a 10-cap. Try again.
This is made from the recipe: Dark Crystal + Karakul Skin + Imperial Tea Leaves + Distilled Water. Caps at level 5 leathercraft. Note that normal Windurstian Tea Leaves will not work with this synth; you can only use Imperial Tea Leaves. Also, as far as I know, you cannot use a willow log in the place of tea leaves.
At any rate, these also can be obtained by desynthing Qiqirn Capes.
