It isn't noted anywhere that it also has a DEF of 44.
That kind of scared me till i actually saw it in-game.

I have this nifty piece of armor, I cannot equip it yet as my blu is only lvl 56. I do, however, have on the sword, the feet, the legs, and the hands. I look pretty nifty with my brigade body. Would look alot better with the magus Jubbah thoe. Well peeps, I will hit this page again when I hit 58 and am able to wear it.
Use this over the Scorpion Harness anyday, it's easily the best AF Body in the game, +15 Magic Skill is alot. The +STR and +DEX help spells aswell.
Blue Mages can set Accuracy Bonus at Lv63 anyway, same boost as the Harness, so i'd use this over the Scorpion Harness anyday.

which would be better this or SH?
I'd take this over SH. but that just my opinion. I have seen BLU's that use SH though.
Dranio - FFXI Tarutaru BLM/BLU
All in all a nice piece of AF. Much better than the AF body of some other jobs. Blue Magic Skill + 15 definitely makes a big difference on spells. +3 DEX is aswell nice when combined with that for SATACA Death Scissors at 60.

I'm kinda glad i stayed at lvl 40 for the AF to come out. Now i can enjoy my AF weapon and actually use it even though I know the CC scimitar is better. I can get all the pieces as i need them. Which means i can take my time and not just get them to have them. I'll actually use them at the lvls i can equip them. Waiting will also give the silk time to fall in price or time for someone to find another way of obtaining it. Hopefully the silk will flood the market lowering the price. I'd still realistically pay 100k for the silk. Never 1 million+.
I'm lvl 45 now and lvling pretty fast just cause i love BLU so much. Hopefully something will come up that i'll be able to get this item for relatively cheap and with relative ease.

I had forgotten that this came out, and I saw someone run past me with it, and I was surprised. Talked to my friends whos 60 BLU, and she is having so much trouble getting the item. Buying the things cost around 2-5 million, and farming them is crazy hard. She has died 13 times so far as her RDM/NIN
