Well I guess this is how it works.
It is windsday you are out with a normal dagger and skilling up. You do Gust Slash and do say 100 damage repeteadly this is prooven to be your max damage for gust slash. .
Well you go to do this again, but only this time you have Khanjar equiped. You get enough TP and then pop Gust Slash again on Windsday, but this time you notice it has gone up exceedingly more than your normal max is (in this case 100) and has gone up to maybe 125 damage. To some not a big increase, but to those who have weak dagger skills your eyes will go O_O OMFGIMAN00B AWESOME! <_<
