the Cupid Worm raises affection level by allot of points (amount yet to be determined) so if it has that empty feeling inside from being lovesick one will surely raise it up and top it off at 'parent'

That said, you can use the Cupid Worms instead of greens like Sharug(sp?) or Azomuph(sp?) and replace the greens entirelly with carrots for a Cupid Worm + Carrot combo. You can use either carrot for what ever attribute youre trying to raise for what ever kind of chocobo you want. This isn't a post about greens or carrots tho lol. This post merely sights the attribute benifets of feeding it worms instead of greens because you fill it up less (leaving more room for carrots) and raise affection much more drastically than using greens so you can further other attribute growth by way of carrots.

I am using porcelain pots with wildgrass seeds and light crystals. Does anyone have a suggestion on what day would be best for harvest?

This is my very first post on this thread. I need to site previous posts within this thread about growing cupid worms (A sure shot) (Growing) and (?). Also the many posts for what this worm does to raise the affection attribute. However, all the 'growing cupid worm' posts like mine are all full of questions. We need more information. My question is what day is best for feeding light xtals and correct day for harvesting FOR 'Cupid Worm'. As yet I do not know the correct answer to either I will post in replies to this message what days I feed the crystal and what days I harvest and with luck and hopefully more outside information, this thread can be of more help to others.

Lightningsday was NOT a good day to harvest from the wildgreass+light crystals b/c out of 10 porc pots I got only 3 worms, but a slew of gyashi greens and some sharug. Not the intended harvest.

Tho extremely limited, hope this helps.

Friend of mine was wondering how to get rid of the lovesick status, I suggested a cupid worm, and she tried it. While it did nothing about the status, her choco went from likes you a little to parent.

My guess would be its a huge affection bonus, but only applicable(or more effective) when the chocobo is lovesick.

My chocobo needs to be healed of being in love. Someone told me that cupid worms will cure this. I have about 10 flower pots(brass, earthen, porcelain and ceramic) Has anyone successfully grown cupid worms from the above combo of brass pot, wildgrass seed and light crystal on a repeated basis? I don't want to get stuck with a black rock...(not really that I would be stuck, because I am trying to level goldsmithing anyway:-)) but I don't want to waste time or seeds if I am not gonna get the cupid worm for sure. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The choco trainer hints how to cure lovesickness... by mating. My choco became love sick the other day so I mated it. The next day the lovesickness was gone.

Does anyone know what the Parasite worm does? I can not find it listed on here. I finally got my choco's strength and endurance both to substandard today then fed it a parasite worm, thinking it would HELP my choco.. All stats reset to POOR! -.-;; What's up with that? Can someone who's in the know, please give a poor guy, down on his luck some advice? Thanks!

info from another site: brass flower pot + wildgrass seeds + light crystal -> cupid worm x2, but not guaranteed.

This is an item to feed your chocobo in chocobo raising. It has the ability to drastically raise your chocobo's affection for you. The chocoguy did hint at there being a possibility that "all your efforts will come to nothing" if you feed a worm to your bird at the wrong time. I'm not sure what that means, or if the potential negative effects are also a possibility for worm paste and celerity salad, which use cupid worms as ingredients.

Recipes from ffrecipe.com:

Worm Paste (cooking amateur level 2)
[Water] Cupid Worm x 2, La Theine Millet, Lizard Egg, Distilled Water

Celerity Salad (cooking artisan level 75)
[Wind] Gausebit Grass, Blue Peas, Cupid Worm, La Theine Millet, La Theine Cbg., King Truffle, Shall Shell, Vomp Carrot
