I've made one of these on Bahamut. It's quite a nice piece. It is much larger than the goldfish bowls, and there's plenty of interesting things on the inside.
Submitted the pics to Pikko, so they'll prolly show up here in a few days.
Let's see... the materials were rather cheap, having 72+1 WW and 54 Alchemy, but like all fish tanks rather annoying to make/obtain. I probably spent under 100K easy though. The AH going price is around 200K I think, or maybe it's 500K. I seem to think it's the former.
I can't comment on the subskill in alchemy. I recieved no skill ups, but I didn't break either. Still felt rather risky, but any expemsive synth does XD
