this has got to be the ugliest looking thing, but the most useful the melee class.
This is one of the best if not the best Body armor a Puppetmaster can use.
Actually... Puppetmaster makes the most use out of this set if you ask me. Corsair is a close second followed by Ranger and Dragoon.

Can I use any assault points to get this?

You get it from the Ilrusi Atoll assault, can only use points from that area and you can do any mission to obtain points. You need 20,000 points to get it.
got this as my drg the other day.... Penta thrust dmg up a bunch! the crits are great and so is the acc. I seem to double atk a lot w/ it on but im sure thats just coincidentle ... this thing makes pting a lot of fun. way way way better then SH

hmmm dont know how to say this but um Hauberk DEF:47 STR+5 DEX+5 Accuracy+10 Attack+10 Evasion-10, Haubergeon DEF:45 STR+5 DEX+5 AGI-5 Accuracy+10 Attack+10 Evasion-20, Pahluwan Khazagand Accuracy+10 Ranged Accuracy+10 Increases rate of critical hits HP recovered while healing +2 Set: Enhances "Subtle Blow" effect now why would you want that
I'm sure it's probably overlooked, but this thing is great for RDM. I would suggest checking it out for solo NM hunting.

This is good for rangers too... I'd definately replace it with the ranged acc +10 artifact body. I know there are things like Archer's Jupon, but you can use this and switch to kirin's osode when you're confident you're gonna hit things. That and the accuracy and critical rate are going to help too, for building hate and DoT

Wow, I don't know about you guys but i'd take even 1% crit increase over a mere 2 Acc, and for THF the Ranged Acc is pretty darn nice. If you really, really need that Evasion just macro something in when you take hate.
I've heard 0% increase, 1-2% increase, and 3% also, though I haven't seen the parses for anything yet.

If you aren't capping accuracy, the 2 accuracy from SH+1 will still be superior to the critical hit bonus. The 2 accuracy accounts for a 1% increase in hit rate, which is about on par with the 1-2% increase in critical hits, but criticals don't give TP or help on WSs such as Dancing Edge, which pushes accuracy ahead.
If you have the SH+1, it's still the better option. Now if you want to land a bolt on THF, that's a whole new story...

Agreed. My wife's SH+1 is now for Eva Tanking/Capped fights only.

The good stats make up for its amazing uglyness ;;, cant wait to try it out on my COR when it hits 72,hoping this will be working well on my DRG tho as well.
