so if dragon kick is earth then this would increase its damage on earthsday?

Every WS' element is displayed in the little box next to its name in the weapon skills list. but WSes have elements other than the listed ones.. Dragon Kick is earth and Howling Fist is wind. this is of course reflected by their usages in skillchains.
Depending on Day: Increases Elemental Weapon Skill Damage
Lets look as H2H WS's
1. Combo, 3x hit
2. Shoulder Tackle, Chance of Stun
3. 1 Inch Punch, Ignores defense
4. Raging Fists, 5x hit
6. Howling Fist, devastating punch
7. Dragon Kick, 2 x hit
8. Asuran Fists 8x hit
Now.......where are the elemental WS's?
Elemental WS's to me are like, Blade:Teki or :Chi etc... ones that say 'deals _____ Elemental Damage'
So are these just pointless Weapons, added so that all classes have a pair of this pretty useless weapon type? or is the Element increase based on the Atributes of the WS.
i.e. Raging fists has the attribute of Impaction

It may refer to the elements s regarding skillchains. I'm not sure which is which, but I know One Inch Punch is considered "Dark"
