yeah, so this is like 10mil on my server, scorpion harness near 900k. the difference between them: 10DEF, 4DEX, 4AGI, and a small % of damage taken down... for farming, its decent although when you farm you really shouldnt be getting hit enough to make it worth the big price tag. SAM has seigan, so evasion/dmg -% is obsolete, and nobody cares about dragoons. This equip would suck for parties for SAM, you can get same ACC and +20ATK from shura togi, and macro in osode for +10STR. and +10AGI. and +10DEX.

To realize what this gear is for, you have to take a look at who can use it. Most of the Hydra gear is tied with or better then Homam/AF/AF2 for Drg soloing gear. Save for a couple obvious peices, like the head.
This will be a great replacement for SH, though I wish it added +att instead of evasion. Unfortunately, this will probably end up being more expensive than SH. Will many people bother to get this when the SH and the rare/ex assault body which also has +10 acc/eva are more accessible?
This body piece is far from crap, this blows SH out of the water for soloing, even the NQ version of this. DEX; Crit, Acc. AGI: Parry, Eva. 10 Acc, 10 Eva. -4%phys dmg and -4%mag dmg. This is a godsend for DRG and SAM soloers.
This is the best solo body piece for DRG besides Ares body. To bad the HQ will probably be 5+mil. :O I wouldn't mind NQ. If DRG fight something that isn't EP-D they hit quite hard.
So this would be nice against solo Sea Puks take less dmg. That -4% will add up over the course of soloing. I duo Imps with a SMN and I tank till the Avatar BPs so I take quite a bit of dmg, though I'm /WHM I'd love this body piece.
Disreguarding ease of obtaining, and level. This beats SH and +1, because it's dex and agi make its acc and total evasion as much and a bit more than SH and SH +1, while also providing tiny amounts of crit hit and parrying. The x2 -types of damage taken are another benefit. Still minimal.
