For those who are "skilling up alcheny try this instead. Water Tanks are level 10 alchemy and make 40 stacks(480) of water (at 10 gil each 40x12x10=4800) I made a few of these myself love it. each belt gives me 480 synthesis before I change up. Cannot be recharged but can be sold at vendors for around 250 gil. I highly recommend these for anyone who make stuff on the go esp bst cooks who make there own pet food. It's not that water is expensive or hard to come by, it's a time saver and also help free up slots for those crafting sprees. pet food example example you can take 3 stacks of eggs meat crystals and water or a belt dispensing water. 1 slot will be free for dispensing and crafting. and as you craft your Normal results will mearly occupy the space the ingredients took up before. since it is pet food there is the unstackable flour which promote cooking at the vendor. Having this item equiped will save you from legging away from the vendor/delivery box. the only drawback I have with it is the inability to use while inside mog house.

the cactus is in tahrongi (duh) canyon, is in the NW side of the map, then a lil south (should see a mountain range on the map) *You need to activate the quest in Windusrt, to be able to pick this up (goto the hat shop, and head west, go south at the fork, and go to the 1st house on your right) **The monument for selbina clay is in extreme NW, in the cave** /bow your welcome =)
you can't desynth pure items like water or foods that have been processed.. On a cool note though.. I needed water so I did this synth (none for sale at AH) and I synthed nine. :-) Alchemy skill does increase the number you synth ^^
I'm guessing it's a waste of a good Lightning crystal. When you can buy a lightning crystal for like 2-300 gil and you can just buy the water for 12 gil...144 gil a stack of water...hmmm...seems like a value to me.
yeah, considering that i just got the cactus today for a quest, and am at lvl 12, i would suggest just buying these. the cactus is a rare, special item. you can not sell it or trade it, hence why it's not seen in the AH. 12 gil is nothing in the long run, so you may as well forget about synthing these...
