If Final Fantasy XI was an offline game with the same storyline (up until Chains of Promathia), it would've been one of the greatest RPGs ever made.

As far as i know for now the only way you can obtain this sword is by appraising a ??? Sword from the Assault "Stop the Bloodshed" in the Assault zone Periqia. It's capped at 50.
Anyone figure out how to get this yet?

Pretty handy for WAR's in 50 caps id say, since we dont get any worth-while WS' until 55 (Rampage)
Okay, so the good WAR will take the 350+ sturmwinds elsewhere I guess.

A sword for WAR? I don't think so, a great axe is better than a sword for WAR until rampage if you're not going to be using a regular axe. You'll be a gimp WAR, if you're lvl 50, and I see you carrying around a sword like this, and all the other jobs will laugh at you and throw stones at you. This sword is obviously made more for BLU than any other of those jobs. I wish I had this sword back at level 50, would have been so much better than the other swords available, so I wouldn't use this sword unless I was in a level 50 capped area.
I'd still like to have it for 50 cap areas...better than my combat caster's scimitar+2, imo.
