ther might actuly be a use for this in end game, if you fight a HNM or god with high evation, (fighting suzy even with sushi i cant ever hit) might make the enhances zanshin efect more dezirable and with the crit+5% and merits it might make up in DOT rather than a hagun or shin

From what I gather, and this is a working hypothesis by no means a scientific fact, the term "Enhance Ability" suggests a boost of 5% of that skill whereas "Ability +1" suggests a boost of 1%. If I really gave a !$#@ (or mayhaps if there is someone who does care) an easy way to confirm this would be for a thf to kill some low lvl beastmen naked, then with a gilfinder +1 piece of equip, then with the enhance gilfinder equip, grab a calculator and confirm ur @$$ off! This first came to my attention thru research of double attack. One double attack merit increases the ability very very slightly, whereas fighter's calliage improves the ability much more noticeably. So, there's some food fer thought hopefully someone more motivated can confirm this if you are willing/curious and have thf at 75 (I do but deleted my account cause I both rue and lament ffxi) and have the fafnir hands and dynamis pants (I had neither spent all my guild points on hecatomb gear and would suggest any thfs out there do the same if you haven't already) completely off topic Louisvitton on Ramuh joined Darkhearts to get Mandau, why in the world a pimp like him would have to lower himself to that is beyond me but hey, full heca + mercy stroke + updated dagger dmg = do what u gotta do! I only hope they didn't make him wear their "trial pearl" cause I'd rather saw my hands off than be told I have to wear a "trial pearl" with the best case scenario being I am accepted only to be told what to do by a bunch of high school freshman with inferiority complexes but hey, at least ur guarenteed pulls from Ramuh's own Kagebot! ok, coming back to this post after quite a while,
enhance zanshin is zanshin+5, or zanshin+5%, nothing too impressive, as zanshin isn't something to be relied upon (although it seems to wipe out shadows nicely at times)
ikishoten merits are the only way to improve tp return on zanshined attacks, total possible +9 extra tp for sucessful zanshin. /drool

I wonder how much this really enhances Zanshin, and more importantly where to get it. This + bushido cape and merits, might be worth a shot. Not that I miss much with shura, p.charm, o-hat, and two toreador's... though I am only elvaan /cry.

Fully merit'd GKT, like any sam should do. Depending on the HNM, sometimes you still miss, but at least with zanshin you get a chance for another chance. Two toreador's your ass? They're 10m each on my server, meaning, your ass is 20m? Not that expensive, at all. If you think I'm crazy, tell it to all the people with relics, and 5 sets of macro gear worth over 10m each. In any case, I miss. I be sad when I miss. Zanshin cheers me up.
