These eggs also drop off of guardian crawlers. I've never seen them drop off other mobs in all my time exp'ing in Boyahda, jungle, CN - but I've gotten an egg drop about 1 out of every 8 guardians I've killed.

After doing the quest for Take in Mhaura, she gives Richarde his fathers cooking to try. After waiting a while I talked to him again and he gave me a new quest called "The Clue". He asked for four crawlers eggs.
