Camped for 14 hours straight, popped N,W,S Shadows during the first 2-3 hours, ES popped at the 14hr mark. 1/1 I peed a little.

SO ihave been camping all of the shadows XD. since sunday. so far im 1/2 on southern 0/2 on northern 0/1 on western (working on now) and 1/1 on Eastern!
ya my ass is lucky but thought i share. to everyone. just persevere! i have seen eastern shadow pop three times. and the one time i get him he dropss for me! so just keep pushing yall ! GL

I was camping Eastern 2 days ago, I had no clue on the ToD so I waited. 25 hours later it popped. It was a long 25 hours. I was however lucky enough to pull in a couple of friends. I am now 1/1 on this NM and dont plan on going back any time soon.

I've read reports that this the ??? Bow dropped from Eastern Shadow in Nyzul Assault can apraise for Vail's Bow. It this an easier way to get it?
Do people still camp this? I know when I go to camp Argus theres always 6-10 people, but I figure this is 1 job. PCC is every job.

Hahahaha! 1/1 just got it a few minutes ago. Eastern Shadow popped like 9 minutes after maintenance was supposed to start, killed it in like 2 mins and got root and bow. Maintenance started a minute after it dropped into my inventory. NM is an easy solo for any job at 74 /NIN, I did it as 75THF/NIN. Good luck to everyone camping this, and I'm sorry if I upset anyone.

have had TH4 once, TH3 3 times, TH2/1 most other times.. the time i had TH4 with me it popped @ 100% moon, lightsday, THF got kill shot.... still no drop.

This is the 2nd best bow in the game. The first is Yoichinoyumi. Ive tested all bows myself. I've had Euryto's Bow, Gendawa +1, and Selene's bow. Euryto's/Vali's bow is the best. Most powerful and quickest. A lot of RNG's are starting to go RNG/WAR or /SAM of course you will do higher damage your STR is set at 70's depending race and as /NIN in the 60's.

Oh yeah, of course... str is the only factor in yoru dmg as rng @.@ The extra dmg has nothing to do with the extra tp gain from /sam, or berserk from /war... Actually, if you do research and parse yourself in STR tests, str does very VERY little for overall dmg as rng, this is a long running myth that I'm really sick of. Lets have no more speeches of "But str is a multiplier of this, or 2 str = 1 r.atk!"... lets have some actual numbers in DMG people.. I've run the tests, and str is garbage on rng.
Camped for a week and had no luck. 7/8 on claims and 0/7 on drops for vali's bow. You would think that it is now rare/ex that SE would at least make it 50% drop especially seeing as window is 16-32....happy camping everyone

I've been using the Gendawa +1 for a while now and every time I Have another RNG in my party I've been doing more damage then them. But that could be because I go RNG/SAM and they're RNG/NIN (sometimes a few levels higher then me).
I'll edit this after I get the bow and test it out to see which is better.

For those of you who don't know this is the second best bow of the game. Yoichinoyumi is the first. Cerberus Bow+1 is like the 3rd. Gendawa +1 is garbage don't believe the hype on that if you want raw power and have the money go for a E.bow or try to camp the NM for this. No other bow compares to this. Ive been out damaging RNGs beyond my level since I was in the 60s when I got this bow.

only problem with logic like this is Gendawa +1 is better on things with High Def like kirin etc where the extra 6 base damage will do more for you then the ratk

Is this the RARE/EX version of the E.bow you can get now. If so I just might try and get it (been wanting to test out the E.bow anyway).

If you can't tell this is the ra/ex version of Euryto's Bow. Being an owner of the 2nd best bow in the game I am definitely going to go camp this and a lot. It will be so sexy to have this ra/ex version. Hopefully the drop rate is much higher.
