...but also useful in other ways on occasion. I macro this along with Mermaid's Ring (+Enmity) for my NIN when debuffing, for example.

You'd think they would have atleast given you the int, mnd and chr all the time. The magic accuracy and refresh effect should be active during assault, way to make a back asswords ring SE =P

EDITING OLD POST: I actually love this ring now lol. It doesnt work in besieged which is really my only major gripe if it has to be assault only..it'd be more useful if it worked in besieged also.
I do do alot of assaults now. Trying my hardest to get captain, have about 9 assaults left to go. I also do a ton of salvage and I'm always out of assault points, so while not trying to rank up in assault..Im repeating things like Lamia 13 just to have points for that nights salvage.
That refresh is very noticeable on my rdm who has no other auto refresh items other than sanction refresh. 5mp a tick is nice.
Its even more fun when I'm on whm (which I usually am for salvage) and rings seem to come by alot more often then when I stated in my previous post. With nobles, sanction, /smn, balrahns ring, brd refresh and rdm refresh..you can manage a good 10mp tick refresh. It is sweet.
Its a nice ring to have if you do alot of events in ToAU and are mage main.
I got this ring :P As of now my rdm has no melee build and my whm is my only other 75. So I figured even if I got a little use out of it, it'd be better than no use Id get from my other rings.
Id assume the auto-refresh is noticeable in assault and besieged. What are the other choices for completing the missions? I at least assume there's other choices since you mentioned"choosing mage"

After getting ZM/COP earrings/ring for melee I decided to go mage item finally. if not just for assault refresh.. and the MACC is unbeatable! Great for HNM
