I tried the spot mentioned below, south of the outpost in Passhow, and found it to be a very good spot.

I used a Carbon rod and Fly Lure, also as mentioned below, at level 9-10 fishing skill, during Earthsday and half of Watersday, and got two and a half stacks of Copper Frogs before I got bored and left.

Moon phase was around 90% waning gibbous.

I also fished up a few useless Crab and Leech monsters, but nothing else besides the Copper Frogs.

If you like to hoard crystals like I do for crafting, there's a Water Elemental that spawns very near the outpost, in sight of the good fishing spot. I didn't bother finding the Thunder Elemental during the corresponding weather, but that's probably not far from the spot either.

Tried and tried in windurst waters, even at the lilypads in south waters, never a bite for 20 minutes during 100% full moon (and it was at night.)

Gave up and OP'd to Pashow, ran 10 feet south of outpost and caught 2 on my first 2 casts...

You can catch these very easily in the Zeruhn Mines with a carbon rod and fly lure. (you get to these mines by going to the Bastoks Mines)

Hope that helps :)

I always seem to have trouble with these too. The bite rate just seems really low on them.
Easy catch

Can someone please confirm if these are still available to be caught in Windurst Waters?

If so, what pole and lure/bait were you using?

I have had almost 70 casts, and not a single bite with carbon and fly lure

I can't catch them here either... One website said you can use a clothespole and fly lures, but I've also casted plenty of times without a bite from the froggies. Maybe at night with those fire-flies everywhere? :p

Just want to point out that the info saying it does not stack is wrong. I've been catching them quite often and they form stacks of 12.

I have been catching these for the last hour or so in Pashhow Marshlands, using Carbon Rod and Fly Lure. Anyone else know other places to catch these? BTW my fishing skill is only 3 + all fishing gear so this is a low level catch.

You have to be Mithran to eat this. It counts as raw fish.

Galka can eat raw meat, and Mithra can eat raw fish.

So, only Mithra can gain the Dex and Agi bonus from these.
