Depending on their current job level, however, adventurers may find these areas to be a considerable time and distance away from their current base of operation. To address this inconvenience, West Aht Urhgan and Past Vana'diel are scheduled to be added to the list of rechargeable locations for the bands. The price of the service in these new locations will be consistent with that of existing areas.

Am I correct in thinking when you guys say "toss the Empress" you really mean DROP it? As in, gone forever? So, it's one or the other...? You can't have both and just switch off when the charges on one wear?

I purchased an Empress band a while ago, I now have enough points to get a Emperor band but the T.K. guard will not let me after I have already dropped the Empress and the next Tally was preformed. He keeps saying I am not eligible for it, that I must wait for a tally to be preformed? Has this happened to anyone?
Sunday to Sunday are tally conquest things. Sunday-Saturday you can either buy or recharge one of the three rings. Once you do this, however, you won't be able to buy or recharge another one until the next Sunday.

One quick tip for getting an extra, one time extended EXP bonus:
If you already have an Empress band and plan to switch to this, use up the last charge on the Empress. Toss the empress and purchase this, which will be available for immediate use. It would be a way for you to have the 50% EXP bonus for 3000 total bonus EXP (assuming you earn 6000 normally).

i like this ring a lot because, being a full time student and working full time, i dont have time to use all 7 charges in the empress ring in a week, hence its wasted. The emperor on the other hand, I can squeeze in on 3 days and get double the double :D its great. Thank you SE for considering us leisure players.

If you mean the total from all charges:
Emperor's band: 18k exp (12k natural, 6k from the bonus)
Empress band: 21k exp (14k natural, 7k from the bonus)
Bear in mind, the only reason Empress band is more is because it has the one extra charge. The Key advantage Emperor's band has is that it's 2 concentrated empress charges, allowing you to 'get more bang for your buck' in a party session, if it lasts that long. Technically it's 4 charges worth if you store one charge by logging out and wait for the ring's reuse time to recycle. Empress band can't be used that much that quickly.

The only way that is possible is to use 1 less charge the previous week.
Using 2 charges one week and 4 charges the next week only comes out to 6 total charges, not 8.
Please think about the things you want to say before you accidentally mislead someone.
