When Bastok is first there is someone in Bastok Markets that sells Millicorn, buy this and 2 stacks of Fire Crystals and you should easily Make 2.

The Guild Recipe List (link on the side of the page) tells you the skill cap for each food item you make, so check it out. If you're raising skill and low on gil, sell all the items you make so you can buy more items to craft more things to sell! Unless you're just really aching for those 6 HPs... =P

While selling these is a possibility, you won't make back the amount you spent making them. A stack of crystals and millioncorn costs you about 5.8k, but a stack of these only sell for around 3k (prices from Quetz). Still, gotta' start from the bottom...

hehehe... i just bought a stack of these in the AH for 2k and i got to cooking lvl 2 with it... then i sold the roasted corn stack for 3k... hehehe

this is such a waste of money for guild pts, the limit is 1280 or something around there. and you have to make 3 1/2 stacks. so since the rising price of crystals are 3k-4k its about 12k~ to make this .... which is a waste since it only yields 1:1 ... 1280 guild points aint worth this i must say. =\

the grilled corn helps some, makeing corn only raises your skill level to lvl. 2 then it stops. you should try something else now.

The last 7 stacks of roasted corn sold for 200 gil a stack at the Bastok AH. Whoever is selling for that price must be a gardener and a fire crystal farmer. Stacks of fire crystal are selling for 2000 and stacks of millioncorn for 800. If I paid AH prices for materials, I couldn't sell a stack of roasted corn for less than 3000 to make it worth my while. I think I will keep my own freshly synthed roasted corn for personal consumption.
After level 2 cooking, you won't get skillups on this anymore. If you'll note, the recipe is (2). that means that's the max level you can skillup on this item at.

hi i was wondering how is it possible to make this with the same material as grilled corn? i keep only making grilled corn and now i am not even gettin any more skill. from level 2 i didn't gain any skill points can someone tell me why i can't get skill points anymore from this? atm im level 5 cook and i cook boiled crayfish that seems to help on skills a lot, however i was told that i should cook sliced sardines till 10. Any help is greatly appreciated.

sorry bout that post before...but i made a grilled corn out of this recipe while i was making roasted corn. anyone know the stats before i try it out?

From what I saw when I ate my grilled corn, made the same way, it's +4 to VIT and that's it, no - to DEX like roasted corn has

This is very easy to make. There's a merchant at Windhurst Waters who sells the corn you need. It's pretty cheap and you can buy it in 12's.

just an FYI to people, this stopped raising my skill at lvl 2. I did maybe 10 beyond that, and nothing.
