Forest Carp may now also be used (I just turned in a few--I think this is a recent change?), but Tricolored and Gold cannot. As Tricolored Carp don't seem to have any purpose cooking or crafting wise, I'm a bit puzzled. "Ornamental" would seem to be an accurate description.
Cap Level means the level at what they cap, so you can catch it earlier, and will be getting skill ups till that level. These are a good way to level up fishing skills, if you happen to catch them. Too bad you can't cook them... or at least I dont know the recipe... :)
got 3 stacks in Ssandoria in an hour, also they sell to any NPC for a good 101 or higher so you make better profit than AH.
P.S. any of you newbs out there short cash and sick of fighting, buy stuff at AH like lizard tails for 200-300 a stack and make a profit NPCing them also fiend blood for 100 or less. Will try to update when i find out more. Wood:43 Leather:23 Blacksmith:31

Most of the items sold at the weapons and armor store in Bastok can be sold the other way around if you're strapped for cash and have the extra AH space.
