gonna try helping a friend get this after i get my ermine's tail, anyone have any info on the NM ya fight to get this?

However I think its important for you to know that thalassocrat sucks and should never be used by anyone, anyone who knows anything can plainly see Mezraq is better under any circumstances.

I used to think the same thing until I saw Thalassocrat in action
against my Mezraq. Was being out DD'ed but a DRG with no polearm
merits and was using all accuracy gear and no STR gear for WS's.
I had +52 STR and capped polearm merits and his penta's were doing about
100 more damage than mine were, he was using thala I was using Mezraq.
We couldn't figure out what it was so I warped out bought Thala and came back.
1 DMG on a weapon affects 20~ damage per hit. That would make Thala do
100 DMG more on Penta Thrust than Mezraq. Also, you would not be losing anything
on the STR part of Mezraq considering Penta Thrust mods are STR and DEX. Meaning 2 DEX = 2 STR when it comes to Dragoon, unless of course you have Drakesbane, and besides, 2 STR isn't going to make up 100 DMG per WS either.
And just for the record, this lance is believed to be dropped from
the plantoid type boss or whatever in Moblin Maze Mongers.
You need a Lost and found rune which you can get for 500 marbles and
you need some other crap. I imagine since nobody has gotten it yet that
the drop rate on it can't be to good.

This is a very nice lance most definitely worth getting...
of course anything worth getting is gonna be as hard as hell to get, but to me this beats the Thalassocrat because of the lower delay and +attack.
