My god, people are now paying up to 300k for this on my server... x.x; Talk about stupidity. This ring used to literally go for 3k... And that was during the peak of RMT!

You are not going to notice this 1%. Almost ANY other ring will probably make a better difference. Why on Earth are people paying so much for this?

You'd probably see the difference if you had a bigger Haste+%. Its a perfect addition to a haste build. iirc, homam and SB would stack with this nicely.
Rare or not rare

To just make it clear to all belivers:

Rare = It's not a common drop, can only be hold one of and can be sold/traded/sendt.
(if you got one before, the new one will be dropped)

Ex = Stackable (like Beastmens seals) but cannot be traded/sold/sent, only you can have it.

Best regards,
Infinitus

What's wrong with you people?

Let me clear this out for once and for all:

RARE = not a common drop

EX = this item can not be traded/put on AH/ put in bazaar/ you can only hold 1 item at the time (in inventory/MogHouse/MogSafe etc.)

In this case: the item is RARE which means it doest drop very often. You CAN equip more then 1 and you CAN sell it by either putting it on AH/ in bazaar/ by trading

Rollcake is right, you definately can't equip more than one of the same rare item...hence the reason nobody runs around with 2 krakens....

lol, have u even played this game ?
try equiping 2 and see how well it works

rare = only one item of that type can be held by a character at a time.

ex = Exclusive items cannot be bought, sold or transferred to another character (even one on the same account) in any way (i.e. they are yours exclusively).

Haste and Slow on your Weapon Delay

Everyone has a natural delay. When you H2H with no weapon equipped, you don't keep punching. When you equip H2H weapons you get delay added to your natural delay. When you equip another weapon, you use that delay instead of your natural delay. (And there are more formulas involved with Dual Wield).

Equipment with Haste is, effectivly, -% of your delay. So, say you're using a lance with 492 delay (I'm a DRG ^^;) If you have 1% Haste, then that's -4.92 from your weapon delay... which brings it to about 488 or 489...

Equipment with Slow would be the opposite (i.e. The Hecatomb set). +% to your Delay. Again, with the Lance, +1% Slow would be +4.92, bringing your delay up to 496 or 497.

The spells Haste and Slow work the same way, using a percentage of your Delay. That's why the equipment just calls it Haste and Slow rather than +/- delay.

Thank you. Tell all your friends. Have a nice day. <('-'*)^
Haste and Slow on your Weapon Delay

That's partially right, however haste + gear doesn't effect the delay itself, if it did you would see a drop in TP gain. Dual wield effects delay itself and therefore you see a drop in TP gain. Haste + quickens melee attack speed (does not effect ranged weapons though) and spell casting and recast timers. +1% haste is near useless, but macro this in with loads of other haste gear when casting Utsusemi and you can dramatically speed up the time it takes to cast the spell and reduce the time it takes to cast it again. I have 20% haste on my THF which drops my Utsusemi: Ni recast by 9 seconds; I can use Ni every 36 seconds, very, very useful.
#REDACTED, Posted: Apr 24 2005 at 6:26 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Its rare, not ra/ex. THis means you CAN equipt two at the same time.

Umm no.

Rare means you can only have one in your inventory and mogsafe at a time.

Ex means it cannot be traded, sold, sent, etc.

I believe this ring will make your hit time of recovery decrease by 1% as long as its equipt. Which means that you will hit 1% faster then normal. And i also belive that this will stack with the WHM spell haste. By the way, does anyone know the Haste % increase of hte WHM spell Haste?

Hmmmm. This means that if your a monk, and you have the purple belt which adds 4% haste, got two haste rings, (+2% haste for two rings), have WHM cast haste (+1~2%) means that you will have, like, a 6~7% haste increase on your attacks. Cool.

I still wanna know how much increase in % the WHM Haste spell does.

Keep in mind that this ring is Rare, so you can only equip one of them (and even own just one of them)...
just a thought....
# Oct 10 2004 at 9:43 PM Rating: Default
yes but if i have 0 haste.....equip this ring, hmmmm....+1% of 0.....=......0......DOH!!!
Yep...
# Aug 29 2004 at 12:03 AM Rating: Decent
Anything that gives +Haste % gives you the Haste ability WITHOUT having Haste. IE, Brown Belt, Speed Belt, etc.
lol
# Jul 20 2004 at 11:55 PM Rating: Decent
pretty sure its +1% automatically.
I think......
# Jul 15 2004 at 2:35 PM Rating: Default
I think it gives you +1% with or without "haste" cast on you.
Question
# Jul 11 2004 at 4:10 AM Rating: Decent
On this ring...does it add +1% to already having haste, or does it give you +1% haste automatically?
