I just got bst and sadly i am lvling it in gusty atm. Is it worth it to go to sandy and get this axe? I got it tons of times b4 but I always dropped it b/c i didn't have bst at the time.

warriors can't have pets...it's beastmaster that has pets. Also, only beastmasters can use this axe.

I'm a 5BST/MNK Galka and I got this whilst doing he DRG quest. I got DRG and started using my BST again. If anything I charm more and the DPS is awesome, 28 minimum per hit at level 5... Yes please!

I used it it was great... and cheap XD... I loved the DMG and STR bonus and everything subtracted didnt bother me because I never used charm until level 10~
there is a sandoria mission where u gotta kill orc untill you get one, unfortunatly i am not a BST and thisaxe would be great at low lvls

Just keep killing orcish fodders, They drop the axe every once in a while (I've sold about fivish and used one for the 1st mission, peice of cake, tasty cake.)

BST's or pet classes arent suposed to be using the pets before lv10~, will just slow them down, so this is a good weapon still.
I disagree with you entirely. I'm a L13 BST right now, so I can safely say that you are wrong.
If BSTs weren't meant to have pets 'til L10, they'd learn Charm at L10, not L1. I've used pets since the start, and I've leveled faster on BST than with any other class - at times I level just as well as if I were in a party. So, no .. pets don't slow you down - at least, they didn't slow me down.
At any rate, this is a nice axe. I don't know if I'll use it (by the time I manage to get one, I'll probably have the opportunity to use something nicer), but I'd certainly recommend it to low level BSTs. CHR-1 really won't hurt you all that much. Trust me on this - I'm a Mithra, and despite my constant hearing that Mithra are horrid BSTs, I have VERY little trouble charming monsters.

You can charm before 10 or 15 but your costing yourself time. You can go to 10 or even 15 without pets and do it MUCH FASTER than with a pet. Thats what he meant.

So your option is a Bronze Zaghnal damage 14 delay 480, or this axe damage 10 delay 288. if the -1 chr really gets ya, unequip it while you charm, then requip it, come on, 4 damage less, but a 2 second swing time shave off from the scythe, its a hell of alot better.
use this axe as soon as yur able to, it helps, i don't even notice the -1 chr at the low lvl's anyway

I found this weapon and because I'm not a BST I can't use it. But I can't sell it either. Why not?
Thie item is rare and Exclusive (you can see that by the colored circles in the upper right of the item). Being Rare you can only cary one of that item. By being Ex- it is not tradable (thus not allowing you to put it up at the AH).
