I'm gonna put it out there. No weapon in the game is stronger than the scythe. Rng might get more damage over time do to rapid firing rate, but scythe has the highest single hit damage rate in the game when used right. Especially when used by Drk. Scythe Owns GA. Don't believe me? Use martial scythe at 300 TP with spiral hell. If you're a drk, add in all the other special effects, and gear enhancers. You'll be the new tank when the mob sets his hate on you.

I'm sorry guys for my flaming. I recently started gaxe, but never had time to lvl it. i went to garlaige and used voulge with 40 ws and it skyrocketed up to 60 or so in a day. now i happily own an armor break ws and my gaxe skill is higher than my scythe SO PLEASE STOP NAY-SAYING!!! ITS NOT MY FAULT SOD IS GOOD ON MANDYS!!! i was just saying sod is really good in yhoater if ur scythe ws is high, wars and bsts should try using scythe at this level for dmg benefits.

i have noticed (for all u EVIL scythe haters) that when in pts in yuhtunga, the ws "Shadow Of Death" does mamamamasive dmg to mandragoras as they r weak to dark. so, in conclusion, scythe kicks gaxes sweaty overrated butt any day

I bought this and was skilling up scythe in Dangruf Wadi and a gob digger aggroed me then i dlvled to 26 and have not lvled up again.

dont feel bad it took me 15kills 61pld/30war. Im not sure if the drop is affected by weather/time of day but its possible. The claws and shells i got while trying for this were nice though ^^

This was a great option for Kazham for when you enter the Yhoator Jungle. i had been using my Republic scythe from Valkurm thru Yuhtunga & i never needed a new scythe. i got it for 4000g on Ragnarok. it was great cuz i upgraded my armor & weapons before going in Yhoator.

I used this as a warrior up to lvl 30 and loved it. The add effect is great and the delay is not bad at all. Sure it is a Zeghnal but what can you do? Only drks get he cool Scythe types. I would take this weapon again is I was going to drk with warrior. How ever one tip I will give you warriors who are going drk... use a Great sword too. You will thank me later!
There's no real reason for a WAR to use a scythe. WARs have more skill (which = more accuracy and more attack) with Great Axes, and these usually have higher damage than the zaghnal-type scythes. Shield Break and Sturmwind are too good to pass up anyways. No, it doesn't matter if you want to be a DRK or not, that doesn't excuse you. You're a WAR, play it right. You can skill up scythe on your free time, it's not that hard. As for Great Sword, it's good to have one around, just in case you really *need* to set up a Distortion skillchain with Thieves. But, you should still carry around a great axe with you at all times and only use a Great Sword as a last resort.
I'm sorry my tone seems agressive or serious. This isn't a flame. But this information is no good for WARs that may be reading. You wouldn't want a MNK or THF using a club in battle, so don't use a scythe as a WAR.

i hate to break it to ya, but, u guys r complete n00bs. if ud stop and bond with ur scythe, he will treat u with respect and do a freaking 200+ dmg to an NM 3 lvls higher than ur self. Who's ur daddy?
