This is a Degen that had been imbued by Firesand, giving it an extra fire damage. Also found within the deepest reach of Ordelle's Caves
If Final Fantasy XI was an offline game with the same storyline (up until Chains of Promathia), it would've been one of the greatest RPGs ever made.

Just found something funny, is that when you cast Enfire while weilding Buzzard tuck and Flame degen (main and off hand) you dont get the +2 fire damage on the Flame degen as you do with the Tuck + any other random sword.
I know is just silly to have a Flame degen equipped as a RDM, just got the sword today while farming for Ordelle's Caves Key.
Any ideas on that?

Does anyone know how much dmg the 'Additional Fire Damage' does?
Also, will my enspells work in addition to the fire damage?
For example, if i cast Enthunder, will I do additional fire and thunder damage?

As a bard, I find myself with a lil free time after my songs are out. I usually pull out a sword or dagger to get some lvls inbetween my support cures. I've been using the cent. sword since lvl 30 (currently 40) and need a new blade. I'm thinking either this or the dual rapier in 3 lvls. I know my damage is minimal, but everything helps. :)
As long as Altana's breath warms my lungs, I will fill this flute with her sacred ruah.

Of course there's a better weapon than this for a paladin. At lvl 34 get a hunting sword, or a war sword if you have the flow. This sword is better than this and you get to use it 6 lvls earlier. At 42 switch to your honor sword.
