could I solo the scorpions at lvl 38drk or 43 rdm? I want this scythe but don't wanna pay the astronomical prices on Caitsith, the scythe I have now is Merc Captains Scythe and I'm still a bit away from get the AF1.

One of the most important aspects of a Drk is it's weapon. It might only be a slight increase in dmg. and only a little bit faster, but it is better so every lvl. 37 Drk should have one. I got new scythe's at lvl. 30, lvl. 34, lvl. 37, and got my lvl. 40 waiting. If your thinking about getting this, I say it's worth it.

I just bought this scythe for my 37 DRK.
Yes, it looks stupid compared to the Mrc. Captain's Scythe...
Yes, Additional Effect Vs. Plantoids: Weight is a stupid mod...
But, this thing hits harder and swings faster than Mrc. Captain's Scythe and its only 5,000G on Fairy. Every DRK should buy this scythe to use from level 37-40.

Not great for a lvl 37 Scythe.?They are better than the Mrc Scythe which most people use up to lvl 40. This scythe will be the best availible through lvl 37-40.

A lot of hate here... EQ is EQ, please let others talk about it if they want. It doesn't hurt to explain other games when talking about FFO, some people might even relate. However, anyone who comments on an item should have something useful to say.
As a level 39 RDM I fought a Giant Scorpion which was "even up" in Ranguemont Pass off of East Rond near San d'Oria. I was going to get my summoner ICE effect in the Snowlands past the Pass. You should only go through Ranguemont Pass if you are level 40+ as other jobs, or you can cast Sneak and Invis. The Scorpions hit very hard sometimes and have a good ammount of HP. Bring Antidotes if you cannot "poisona" because their poison can last for up to 200 HP of damage. (depends on your ability to resist poison) All in all, the weapon is not that great for a level 37 Scythe, but if you want to pick some up in the pass, I'm sure they will sell to someone. Just don't charge too much for them.

You know, this reward for good deeds thing just doesn't work for humanity... shouldn't a "good" deed not be followed up by a reward?

*backhands the idjit* Former EQ player like me have found out it's almost a hand book titled "RPG's for beginers" Please leave the EQ comments out of the game.... it's silly. (Opted for Silly instead of how I really feel) ^-^
