I tryed to solo this as WAR64/BLM32 today but it was a hard mob to beat I used Spartan Hoplon shield (I found this shield in AH and I try it out in Pulling the strings later) (That I did beat before this) and axe so got Phalanx from shield that cut down damage on hit but it missed me enugh times that if I had /nin I could cast Utsusimi and it dual wield weapons I would solo this easy but since I was mining and subbed /blm I was weak for that mob.

A WHM helped me, he cast Haste and cures so I beat it but no drop what so ever and "when I engaged fight with it I did not know anything about this NM". That is exciting it feels like being a new player to the game, doing new stuff you yet not know about.

Another time I solo this mob but is the drop really worth it? Then again when I see a NM I claime it sometimes whit not knowing about it.

I was doing Holla quest (as 62SMN/29BLM for warping purposes) And I spotted him. I decided to try and solo which I did...owned him completely..no drop and no idea when it's worth on Ramuh.

Had a 49 whm with me doing tele-holla quest for her and did this guy in. I am a 59drg/war. No drop but not too hard with the healing.

Bumped into this chap a couple of times mining as WHM 55. Me and a BLM 60 got it to about two-thirds HP before deciding that we would inevitably lose, since we didn't have much MP left and had been caught unawares. We Escaped out of there then came back with a PLD 59 and battered it pretty convincingly. No drop though.

Mining bots and those people who camp mining points nearby 24/7 ought to be really careful! Why, some unscrupulous WHM in the area could cast Stoneskin, lead the Juggler right to them, then Flash + Warp to safety leaving them to die.

Of course, I'm sure no-one would EVER do something like that on purpose, would they....?

as a few posts ive seen here, said this had blunt damage on it, i tested this, and it does not. It does less damage on bone mobs, 40hp hit to mob on heavy vs 80hp hit on gnd knight lance from having less dmg on the weapon ;_;.. on crabs it was about the same ~5 damage difference, not worth too much more than 40k

Just tried this as a 66 drk/blm while i was mining in gusgen. He hit me for about 70 a turn, and hit me pretty frequently (i only had my mining gear on + my GS) So after i toe to toe with him i realize im losing, so i started kiting him around.

Sleep > aspir > drain > stun > repeat process
took me about 5 mins to do that then went toe to toe again and finished him off with a spin slash.

No drops ; ;

man, this NM is a chump for an evil weapon.
i was lost in gusgen XD. and a JP lv50 RDM comes over and says "fond Nm". i am a lv51 War. I figure wtf.... ill kill a nm if it gets me out of these damn mines :D long story short. we barly killed it, and the RDM couldnt even find our way out. go figure. she was a miner, and had a map. But ohh well,, killed the NM and no drops

This NM is a chump a ls friend ran into it 52 drk said he got slaughtered so a few ppl came and helped him kill no drop next day he is mining pops again im a 55Nin so i went down to help him thought it might be fun blink tanked him he is slow i never got hit and no drop :(

This crap is about 10-20 k on fenrir

What's the POS of this hole? Isn't this guy just really deep in the mines, where the MNK AF1 ghost is, or no?

Price must dropped off quite a bit...I'd hope so on your servers as well. This thing is only 17K on Leviathan.

DAMN IT!!! I was mining and dropped through the hole and met this dude... thought i could solo him... until he bust out Poison 2. I ran and ran, fianlly a 59 JP PLD saved me... but he told me to go as far as possilbe so that he can escape later.
