Hi, I might have dumb question, so excuse my ignorance. Does anyone know why I can't use this ranged weapon with iron bullets? I'm lvl 52 thief atm.
I like this crossbow over the Warbow +1 personally... I'm at 52 ranger atm and I'm pretty sure that with darksteel bolts you can outdamage the warbow+1 with bodkin arrows. And even if it is under just a little bit, having a crossbow equiped already adds a lot more versitility. i.e. You can switch to acid/bloody/sleep bolts, without losing your TP. Thus, it's np to switch to acid bolts and shooting before switching back to darksteel and using WS... The only thing I dislike about crossbow is that your barrage is lower than bow... But I guess the normal average shot time makes up for that.

I turned a +1 version in just to see what it would give me. 2635 points. Definately not worth it over the normal version.
This X-bow will will last you from 50-60 easily. Great damage with standard delay.
