Not that I can tell. Used this for 2 levels in Garlaige just now. Didn't proc a single freakin' time. It was Lightningday and whatever day is before Lightningday during that XP session. I don't remember the weather conditions. I suppose Earth weather could explain things. Plus, I shoot a lot of arrows, but even then it was a huge disappointment.
Eh, scratch that. I don't need it anymore, I now have an Ashura. Thank you Cinnful for letting me borrow your Homura +1! From what I saw it was a decent katana, and the occasional fire damage was awesome.

made 8/20 of this with lvl 91 alchemy last night.
selling for 40k a piece on phoneix.
NQ goes for 15k which is about break even.

I have this Great Katana in my posession right now. I feel so rich. ^_^
It's a great step up from the next sword down, that's for sure, and you really notice the difference in power when fighting somewhere like Crawlers' Nest or Eastern Alteppa Desert. Go Homura +1!
