For the record, Homura is better... don't bother with this. Homura = DMG:47 Delay:463 level 34 and it's cheaper. I'm going to stick with a Homura til I can get my AF1. =^.^=

Ashura is the Level 4 Weapon upgrade for your adventuring fellow (NPC). Trade it to Luto when your NPC meets the requirements to equipment this weapon.

Its name, Ashura, Is just another way of spelling "Asura" which is another word for God, or the Supreme Spirit.

I've been looking all over for this sword but no luck on finding it, the AH doesn't sell these anymore.. Does anyone on the Asura server have one I can buy or someone that can craft this sword? please send me a tell with a price or something ^^ Thank you.

Actually, Ashura was before Kotestu, both obtained on the World of Balance. Cyan's 'best' sword would be the Sky Render, dropped by either doom or poltregist.

Anyways. I don't recommend ANYONE buy these. They're expensive, very, and they're harder to sell back. Wait a level or 2 to get the next sword, this took me 2 weeks to sell back for 7,000 less gil.

Actually it's his starting weapon. i.e. the lowest one. Kotetsu is the next one up you can buy. >.>

check out that delay 8) on a more serious note, wasn't this one of cyan's higher end swords in final fantasy III? He was the knight from Doma who used sword techs.
