Every location was wrong for Windurst.. I went to each one just now, and the NPCs names don't match and I talked to every one in the area. If I trade it, WHO and where because the names posted here don't match. And I just tried to trade to three different NPCs
If you plan on doing any kind of Gardening, KEEP THIS COUPON! It helps with Gardening success. Some things in this game have more then one meaning. Using the items for their full potential is key.. I can't believe nobody's posted this already.. Hope this helps someone out there lol....
Since it seems only Windurst was ever posted, I had to search for this myself a bit on my San d'Orian mule. Thus, I thought I'd note proper zones, positions, and names of the NPCs you trade these to. I'm sure there are more, but here are at least three:
Bastok Markets: Reet (G-7) South San d'Oria: Ailevia (I-9) Windurst Woods: Jack of Spades (F-8)
When did ppl start gettin these adventurer coupons? I dont remember gettin one when I started?
I saw one in someones bazaar for 10gil (lol) so I just went ahead and bought it, thinking it must be good for something - a healthy 40 gil profit is on the cards now! =P heh heh
That is assuming I can use it now, considering I have now completed 150 different quests! ; ;
A 10 gil hit aint much denting anyway! lmao
Can you npc these, or do you HAVE to give them to the certain guy in each city? And also, if this guy I bought it from is from Sandy say, I take it I cant trade it to the Bastok guy and vice versa? I cant b bothered with the hassle of running around 3 cities trying to earn 40 gil! =P
Damn man, it's not that complicated, you receive the coupon when you start the game. Give it to the guy as instructed (it's even shown as a marker on your map of your starting location). Give it and get 50 gil.
When I first got the coupon I did not know what to do with it. I tried talking to the guy I was soppose to give to, but he did not take it. I gave up on trying to give the coupon. 45 levels later, I finally found out that you were sopposed to trade the item to that guy. =P
there are 3 citys and 3 main zones within each of these these citys each zone has a NPC that will accept this item. you can obtain a total of 3 of these items thou because it is a rare item be sure to trade it to a NPC before you change alliance I am unsure what will happen if you change alliance with it in your inventory i asume you lose the first one or it skips the scene where you recieve one.
EDIT: this is not a quest and you do not recieve a title, your starting title is automaticly "New Adventurer".
If this helps anyone, well your welcome ^^, anyways i'll say everything i know about theses coupons; Ok when you start the game you are given one by a NPC and told to see another NPC to give it to in the same area this person then gives you 50gil for the coupon and you gain the title of 'New Adventurer'
Just want to make something known here .. it doesn't matter which of the NPCs you hand this into (out of those that accept it), you'll still get the 50gil and complete the "quest". I was told to hand mine in to one of the Jacks, and I couldn't remember which, so I just chose one, and it still worked. I'm 99% certain of this, if anyone can prove me wrong, go for it. Just thought I'd mention this ..
