Best investment I have made in FF... I'm a lvl 42 mnk, bought them with an effort at lvl 17, and have used them happily since. I am just now considering changing them, and I'm not sure... Accuracy enhancement is a great bonus.

I'm just wondering, isn't it better to get the Kingdom Cesti? Attack is lower but delay is way lower. And the price is a lot less too!

Just bought these on the Lakshmi server at the Bastok Markets AH for 80,000 and I am really, really loving the damage they do. I originally had the Kingdom Cestis, and figured that these wouldn't be that much of an improvement above those but they definitely are...

Well they are definately sweet... Highly recommended.... Little expensive at AH, but worth it because of resale value and the demand for them is always high... :)

Just from seeing this, I said to myself...GO...LEVEL...GOLDSMITHING, 1 becaus look at how low the craft is! and 2 it cost about 50k to make, and 3, It sells for 100k >_<

I'm a noobie monk on Ragnarok what just hit lvl 15. I'm willing to throw down the 30k on these if someone on that server can get me one

Why would a Paladin use hand to hand?? cus they would lose their shield etc, lots of knuckles can be used by PLD but i thought id post it here.

I made sure that I had the 30k required to buy these suckers from the AH when available. I got them before I hit 15 and I've been using them ever since. I don't see any other H2H weapon that even compares to them until the Impact Knuckles at lvl 32. 30,000 gil for the best possible weapon available for 17 consecutive levels? Sign me up!

I don't think even the Impact Knuckles are much better than this. Impact Knuckles only have str+1, it would take str+6 to make up for attack+3.

i don't see how these can be so overwhelmingly good... strike baghnakhs, sonic knuckles, lynx baghnakhs, cougar baghnakhs all seem around the same... the attack +3 can be gotten from numerous other items

but you can still use those numerous other items with this which would then give you double those stats (attack +6)
My mnk is 15, and I'm not going to level it any further until I get a set of these bad boys... I have the gil, but I'm having the damndest time finding these. They go for 20k at the Bastok AH, and an additional 5-8k at the Sandy AH. They're just never in stock :(

On my server (Alexander) they were never available in Bastok. I finally got mine at Jeuno's AH - for 40K! Most people I've talked to said they got theirs in Jeuno.
In the beginning, there was nothing, then God said, "Let there be light." And there was light. There was still nothing, but you could see it a lot better.
Update: picked up a pair at the sandy AH for 30k a while back.. I'm quite pleased with them. Not getting another pair of knucks until my 30's when I get impact knuckles.

i just bought some gill from ige for them, and it was worth it, but i figure that it would take me ten times as long to earn the money at work then in the game
Idunno, I'm not sure its ever worth it to deal with these jerks (IGE or whomever).
The big problem with dealing with them (buying gil from them) is that you reward the very same behavior that's causing such economic troubles on the system as to require you to buy gil from them.
I forget the post (it was in general, if anyone can find it, I'd love to see it again) but someone once detailed a fairly comprehensive argument as to why gilfarmers such as IGE are bad to the in-game economy, and how promoting them in the real world you are actually encouraging them to further mess up the in-game economy.
I farm in Buburimu, a lot. It's been my favorite place to farm. Well, when I am there, there are typically 20-30 other players farming the areas I am. These players are mostly made up of these gilfarmers. They have characters that are logged in 24 hours a day and people just work in shifts farming with them. Asside from the rather bad (and oft times rude) competition, there's the whole issue of them gain monopolies on certain goods found only in this area (which, in fact, has been the case on Phoenix server in Sandy with certain types of logs).
Anyway... you may want consider the bigger picture the next time you are really needing the cash.

I heard from a friend that this is obtained from a very tricky quest. As for which quest, I'm unsure...
Well due to the stats and name compared to a very very similar H2H weapon called bastok knuckles, Id say its a synth. Bastok Knuckles can be gotten from conquest ( rank 1) in bastok when they are in 1st place i believe, but they are obiously also crafted.

Can someone CONFIRM an origination location for these?
And don't tell me Conquest, cause I've examined every rank of CP when in first place, and still none to be found.. I've heard that these are crafted but, no one has been able to confirm that for me either.

I got a set of these from the Bastok AH on Ramuh for 8000. I haven't compared it to another set of H2H of the same level, but it holds up well in a fight compared to my Braveheart. Overall a very nice H2H weapon for a WAR/MNK.
