there are MANY items that add more than just one space in ur moghouse plus i have dried plants dressers a few tables and a bed in my mog house an i think its worth all that gil to make it look kewl. but my moogle wont let me have a TV in there DARN U MOOGLE DARN U
Will your moogle give you 4 Iron Ore for each Simple bed? As a crafter, can I make a bed, put it in my MH, get the ores after a few days, then sell the bed and the ore, make a new bed, place it, eventually get 4 more ore, etc.
I believe the moggle rewards count as a quest. Aka once you get the event of the 4 iron because of conquest update while having simple bed and random lot during update...etc all that stuff~ You can only get that event once.
The advantage to having furniture in your room is that you get these things in your Key Items called Moghancements. There are 4 different ones, Experience, Conquest, Fishing and Gardening. Experience lowers the amount of exp you lose when you die, Conquest raises the amount of CP you get when you have Signet active, Fishing let's you catch more items, and Gardening helps prevent your plants from withering while you're away.
There's a lot more then those 4. There's Desynthesis (lose less items on fail), and each of the elements has a moghancement as well(lose less items on fail), but these only show if you do not have another moghancement of the same element. Ie, moghancement:earth will be blocked by moghancement:gardening if you place a table.
You can only have 1 moghancement active at a time. There's a guide on this site somewhere if you want to know more.

I can make these with few failures and my clothcraft is only a 3 so it looks like the main skill level is the one to go by for some items or the level listed above is an incorrect. windlorn:kujata woodworking: 30 smithing: 14 cooking:5 clothcraft:3 leathercraft: 3

Nope the skill level is fine. The thing is with a trivial of 11 on clothcrafting you could craft it with loss all the way down to skill level 1 but at skill level 0 you would be unable to craft it at all. Mind you at 3 you should be getting the occasional clothcraft increase on success.
Finally the Noble Bed (not in DB) will give you the last quest : "Moogles In The Wild".
I hope this clears up the confusion. "Storage" in the "Mog House" menu just gives you back the space that the furnitures takes in the mog safe. It does not add to the total slots. Use "Storage" for items you won't be using but want to keep around, like weapons you keep for souvenirs, or that Samurai katana you'll need for AF1.
The simple bed does nothing, it is only for making your mog house look more hospitable.

#Anonymous,

The Mog wants you to bring a power bow for his father and an Earring (I think) for his Mom. You have to put the bed in your room before the Sunday update and then you have to wait a week for the mog to tell you about the quest.
I seems to me that for each item that you have sitting in your mog house, you gain one storage space.
For the quest, I was told that if you have the bed in your mog house, you can only get the quest if you have your homepoint set to your moghouse, or possibly within your home town. You also have to do this before the next tally is up. After the next tally comes up, head to your mog house to get your quest
to get the extra storage u have to do a quest for your mog...the way to get this quest is to first put the bed in your house. Later you can do the same with the bronze bed
I have put a simple bed into the mog house and have not had more than the standard 1 storage space. I'm told that you would find 4 ingots under your pillow but it's a one time thing. I am waiting to see if anything else happens. It's 02/04/04 right now, Highest level is 25 with Rank 3. I'll post a follow up within 3-4 weeks.

This is how it works for storage space. When you put a item in your mog house layout, it takes up one space in your mog safe. When the item is in the layout, it gives you one space in storage. So its a one for one tradeoff. Its not actually giving you any extra room. It only gives you storage to make up for the spot taken up in the mog safe. The down side is that you can not get to your storage space when you rent a room in another city. You can only access it from your home town.
I have heard of items you can put into your mog house that give you 2 storage spaces for the 1 space taken up in the mog safe. I have not seen any of these yet and I have tried a couple different items.
Yes, they havent posted the plus side to having furniture in your mog house...I don't know why but yes it adds more "Storage" space in your mog house...30 to be exact.
