If Final Fantasy XI was an offline game with the same storyline (up until Chains of Promathia), it would've been one of the greatest RPGs ever made.
Ok, this has absolutely no serious bearing on the game, but if you like random facts, check this out:

Hmm, with free tiger leather (I just got to 60 cap in Leathercrafting, and the leather is not selling well at all) I should be able to NPC these for decent gil, if the GP (7360) is any indication.
Maybe even sell some in Bastok to Goldsmithers?
