+4I was running back from Nanaa Mihgo after starting AF2 when I checked out someone's bazaar. She had mostly normal farming stuff (Insect Wings, crystals, beehive chips etc.) but when i scrolled down i saw this fancy boomerang selling for 10k. At the time I didn't know how much it was worth, I just thought it might help to cap my throwing, so i bought it. When my throwing was capped, I went to sell it only to realize it was worth 1 mil

When i was lvl 56, i was searching thru weapons, then i saw this. I began debating wheter to save up for comet tail or bloodsword. I was lucky enough to get LL boots and sold them for 650k(price at the time, now goes for 750k) i bought the comet tail cuz the bloodsword was not in stock. Glad i did, now im 62, reaching 63 where i plan to buy bomb core, if i sell this(1 million gils now) and buy bomb core (300k) ill make a profit of 700k. Also, its so rarely put on the ah, that i might try to pull it off for 2 mil gils. Talk about inflation. >_< This boomerang is awesome, brought me from about 60 skill to 99 skill as of now.

Don't jack the price; there are better things fro anyone to spend 1mil on. This has exceptional stats for a boomerang, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a boomerang...

How do i know? I bought one for 900k on shiva, and i love it! great for farming! I saw this bad@$$ boomy at ah in lower jeuno when i was broke, and wanted it desperately. Sold a bunch of furniture to get enought to buy, and it was gone! Lucky for me the next day another was up for sale!

Aye. Valid complaint, horrible way to express it. Not all JP players are profitmongers and they certainly aren't "stupid". However it is interesting how the recent trend of lvl50+ rare items and NM drops going down in price by as much as 80% directly conincides with a large proportion of NA players achieving lvl65+
Not to mention that this rang has the best stats boost, and is only beat in base damage by the rising sun, a lvl 68 boomerang (13 later then comet tail).

Aside from all the controversy regarding the Comet's Tail (yes, it's a boomerang. let's move on.) that place is easy enough to get through (as long as you have buffs). The problem is ... King Behemoth seems immune to Deoderize and Sneak, so if you're going, make sure you have powder or the love of a good RDM/WHM.

This is a Boomerang. It goes for near 3 million on the Ramuh Server to my knowledge. Level 65 equip I belive.

I've seen one or two of these on some high level players, it is definatley a boomerang.
Also, think of the name "Comet tail" It sounds more like a boomeranf than a sword or dagger anyway.
