Posted: Feb 12th 2004 3:29am, Score: Sub-Default, [expand] I get told by the smithing craftsmen that I can craft this at lvl 5. If i can do it then, there is no reason to wait until 10. Even id it is the top crafter telling me the recipe, hes just telling my stuff which will increase my exp, or at least thats my understanding.

I believe that the level they state on crafted items is not the level you have to have to craft that item but rather the level at which you no longer get skill from crafting that item. The skill cap rather than the skill requirement.
