I have a 54 Ranger, and I just noticed that I can wear these (what, I'm paying attention....somewhat). Currently I'm wearing Noct Gloves +1. I was thinking of making the switch to these to enhance Holy Bolt damage. So this, plus AF legs (when I get them) and my R.K. Belt would give me +12 MND. Any thoughts on this?? Basically I'm asking, would the +5 MND be noticable over the +2 Ranged Accuracy? Not to mention that these are 10k, while Noct +1 is 50k on Quet. So yeah. Any ideas from experienced Rangers, or just really smart people would be appreciated.

Funny how everyone keeps mentioning Equipment sqitching macros without giving away the macro.
For those wondering, equipping these with a macro would be /equip Hands "Devotee's Mitts"
Btw, i'd be surprised if you keep parties after getting in with that attitude ^^ The gloves aren't nearly as expensive as mage's gloves (best +int hand slot item at this level i suppose? not sure...) on my server, so you not be able to buy +int gear this early on...
It's a wonder that people like you can get a PT at all
Not everyone is as narrowminded as you are you know. Some people know that these things aren't as important as some of the "l33t" wanabees make it out to be.
People can group with people who's compatible with your own state of mind without any trouble. Some of the more "serious" players might feel it slows the exp down too much for them, while some people aren't in a hurry to reach the point where you can't get any further, and can live with people playing as they chose as long as it doesn't kill them too many times.
Yes summoner needs INT. A summoner's avatars's magic power is determined by summoning skill, but the avatar's Melee strength is determined by the summoner's INT, MND, and CHR.
this is an inaccurate statement, all avatar stats are determined predominantly by Summoning magic skill. if the mental skills do influence the avatar's abilities at all, it is minimal and should be negated
This is an inaccurate statement. Well, misleading anyway. It is not proven that there is any way you can alter avatar's stats in any way besides leveling up. Not even Summoning skill is sure to do this.
